He hasn't done a U Turn though has he, he's merely stopped the train until the way forward is clear. The rest of the world will fall into line by agreeing trade deals (including China) them the train will move forward.
A U Turn would have been cancelling the tariffs totally. One thing Trump is not going to do is announce to the world that he got anything wrong, it's not in his dna. Haven't watch the Galloway video btw, when I start to give that bloke any credence at all I'll be ready for one of Raj's care homes.
U turns are the speciality of the Labour Party aren't they?

George is good at turning up for mid term by elections and usually winning the protest vote, but when the real election comes along fades like snow in the Sahara.
He has a grand rhetorical style, but it’s not attached to anything.
