https://www.owtb.co.uk/topic/56465-oldh ... -accounts/

I remember Frank saying something along the lines of we have no more money left to invest after paying something like £12 million to purchase club and pay off outstanding debts ( if memory serves ). A really terrible investment should have started from scratch which probably would have only cost hundreds of thousands coupled with good support. If ever there was a heart before brain purchase this was it. That said I havent even looked at the accounts here yet.

The price of non league football nowadays is shocking.

As well as this fake 2.8 % inflation.

I think Poolie questioned me a few years back what:

Now we all know unfortunately.

The world is absolutely fcuked and now beyond repair.

Would love to rewind to the peaceful 70s.80s90s00s.
Opinions eh.

remember the days when i had to ask what a season ticket was and must have been about 11 at the time. its a good job kids have there phones to play games as i,m sure they,d invent a game called Football Director where the winner was not the one in charge of a promoted team but the one who had the lowest loss on a season.

clubs never once mention its non league football when they are flogging these tickets. why fans buy them early is beyond me when they have no idea what they have spent their money on until the new signings come in and see what the club is all about. over the years have clubs conned them by making out if season tickets sales do drop it could affect the squad they have to watch so they fork out if they can afford.
