Weather presenters telling us March was the sunniest and driest March on record for England. Then why the f*ck is my garden still soaking wet and the grass hasn't needed cutting yet? Why is tree pollen season later this year?
My observations tell me that they're wrong certainly for the NE of England anyway.

but next year it will be even more sunny and dry like the year after that will be until we reach net zero for the rest of the non believing countries to have there worst weather on record. all i,ll say is that the early spring flowers were later this year than last because they did not understand how to behave to keep the bullshit going.

Don't listen to the BBC news/weather so would have no idea what is happening regard this so called climate change, except as a reason to extract more money from us poor plebs.

Cut the lawns 3 times already since March, daffodils are out early for a change, usually May they flower.
Using this week and next week to do my usual spring clean of the garden, I'm pleased the sun is out, usually it rains March/April time.

Then again if it was raining every day in March, they would be blaming climate change.

Notice how we don't get told, it's been the coldest winter on record across the northern hemisphere and the polar vortex are getting colder and record amount of snow. However, as as the sun shines for 2 days, it's a mini heat wave and as soon as we hit double figures, we are hotter than Athens, Madrid, Rome and Ibiza.

What? Stupid enough to look at a patch of turf in our back garden as a reliable indicator of whether climate change is real or not? Nobody is that daft.

If you read my original post I'm using my patches of grass to understand what's happening around me rather than simply taking what some presenter, usually chosen by audience appeal, as gospel. You'd have to be an absolute chump to do that.

Always wrong - we were meant to have loads of snow at the back end of January - was happily gearing myself up for a couple of snow days off school and the best we managed was a couple of showers of sleet- was fucking fuming!

You'd think given all the advances in technology and data over the years they might be a bit more accurate. They just use a broad brush like the mad fuckers that write the horoscopes! When It came to horoscopes, my old Gran was the Best- she used to read all of them and then choose which one she'd be for that day!

Ever considered the possibility they give you the info they want to give you to suit their politicised agenda and to gain advantage for the aims and targets…..the days of the weather ‘man’ have long gone.

They're not all qualified in meteorology though are they, many are chosen to present the weather because of their photogenic rather than knowledge.

If the weather presenter says its sunny tomorrow, but I wake up and it's raining are they right. Sometimes the evidence of your own senses is better than what the "experts" want to tell you. I was around Sedgefield yesterday and there's still loads of fields with huge lakes in them - or they may have been mirages due to all the sunshine through that record sunniest March eh?

Here's another one, "Pensioners have been protected by the Triple Lock", said by Starmer, Reeves, etc al (people who have studied for years and are running the country). The reality is we've lost WFA, we've got above inflation Council Tax, Energy, Water, etc price increases and the increase in the pension doesn't touch the f*cking sides!! But we're better off according to the "experts".

spot on. its bloody obvious if your money goes up by £100 but your outgoings are more you are worse off but so many cannot see it. you can cut down on your expenditure but there is a limit in how far you can go. if my parents came back from the grave and i told em i can only afford to come to the vic once a month with the amount of state pension i get they,d say i must be splashing the cash on foreign holidays, new clothes and going on the piss every night if thats all i can afford to do.

My state pension went up by £12 a week…so the water rates increase has taken one week a month out straight away…so it’s obvious when the increase are tallied up the income will be less….thanks for for my LG pension and my French Pension… glad I bothered now…although the French one was non contributory….they’ll be a thing of the past now. .

So when I look outside and it's raining but these people yell me it's sunny, I tend to believe the actuality not the theory. Stupid or sensible?

You mean the weather girls. I'm not sure they are quite numerous enough to be represen tative of the profession or even just the women in the profession.

Prediction sometimes go wrong but historical analysis is far easier as you can imagine!

I've worked with meteorologists too and most of them having issued a forecast include a confidence figure against said forecast, rarely seen any better than 85%. And as a lot of them day a weather forecast is someone's best guess.
Be interesting to see the confidence figures regarding the predictions of climate Armageddon.

but why do they employ an extra person to read the auto cue when one of the presenters could easily do it. a weather presenter could have all the qualifications in the world to tell us what anyone can actually tell you or what you can look up in a few seconds anyway. hust because someone has big tits or a pretty face will not alter the weather available.
