While Farage bullshitted instead of doing what he said he would Rupert Lowe is doing it instead. Farage is yet another politician who done completely the opposite to what he promised his voters.

After putting this on X and wanting to reach a target of £100,00 within 41 days it's already passed £210,000. Also he and Ben Habib each donated £5000. Now Ben Habib that's the man I would love to be Prime Minister proper top bloke who cares about putting the people 1st.

Why would you want another very wealthy person to be PM, where do you think his priorities would lie, with his rich mates certainly not with the ‘working class’.

We obviously need to tax the rich, tax wealth, tax big corporations, if you want to live in a progressive forward thinking society, but imagine expecting MPs to push for higher taxes on the rich? MPs are rich, many have been MPs for 20+ years, that's 90k a year x 20, plus all the side hustles, stocks and shares and freebies. That's asking millionaires to tax millionaires, it ain't gonna happen.

I exclude Jeremy Corbyn from this outrage, as he is on the side of the working class, and is probably the only MP who could live on Universal Credit.

serious doubt there has ever been a time in history where the poor get richer and the rich get poorer. compared to our grandparents and great grandparents we are rich but unlike them so many have no idea on how to use the money they have and the expectations of some are too high.

who was the last pm we had who was not wealthy or had zero influence before getting the job. they only know second hand how the poor feel like us about the rich. the rich need taxing fairly for what they can afford but not tax em to death for spite so they leave the country and take there money with them.

Another point is Trump is a very wealthy person and he seems to be looking after his people and his country first. So why couldn't Ben have similar plans of people and and U.K. first. sctatchinghead I am not saying anyone will ever clobber the wealthy properly ( which is wrong ) but a good P.M. could still make a massive difference to so many millions of peoples lives instead of punishing the poorest and most vulnerable like the current outfit.

Since 1am today to now the fund has gone from £ 210,000 to over £288,000 quite impressive impressive when you consider its a Saturday and most people probably contributed between say 8am and now.

Now over £326,000 and rising by the minute. The target was reset to £500,000 today but even though itsca weekend it looks like that will be passed in next 24 hours. Before anyone asks I have not donated 1p but it's pretty obvious this subject is firing people up.

When big industries closed from where the majority of Labour politicians used to come from which was the grass roots of society, I am not saying they were all perfect though. Now it’s from university after doing a degree in economics, working for the party etc, the criteria for an MP should 4/5 years working in a job in the big wide world before standing.

this university thing has been with us now for about 25 years. its pretty obvious that anybody over 40 involved in politics would have been to one. its not 1965 when only the elite and the top 6th formers gained a place in one as there are far more places now to fill. something else we can thank blair for.

While the government refused to fund such a enquiry, a fair few MP's mostly Pakistanis are asking the government to fund an airport in Pakistan!

Including Naz Sha who retweeted the following and agreed with it:

'Those abused girls in Rotherham and elsewhere just need to shut their mouths, For the good of diversity!'

I know what I would want my taxes used for!

fine if everything was fine in this country with no financial or other problems and we could afford to help. is this the start of their black hole if that and other similar things get the go ahead.

back to the airports farce, the same people supporting one in mirpur are the same as the ones who are against the 3rd runway at heathrow. one of there reasons is sited as climate change therefore is it only the UK that suffers and causes this worldwide as its fine to build one in pakistan. the mind certainly boggles.

Thankfully he's fallen off the radar a bit in recent years - presumably as even lefties can only tolerate the odious little fucker for so long.

Trust me, your ignorance of him is truly a blessing.

I have watched him several times, and he is even more annoying than our lass - though one I did enjoy was when him and Peter Hitchins got together for an interview.

You are correct regarding our lass mind, which is why I control the household budget and she gets £100 per month pocket money to spend on shite. She also has a (maxed-out) credit card, but thankfully they've never raised her limit above £500.

Amazing our lass facts number 153: She went to Dyke House, and knew the real Kenny Bottles who I pay tribute to with my forum name.
