If we continue with the latest form and chances created it's at least a 2 goal win here. One of the biggest challenges is the pitch. I am predicting a 1-3 win because we never keep a clean sheet. Also if the manager sticks to his style of playing " tennis " football it encourages other teams to come out and attack. That said I like this style because it's exciting and open which allows us to beat any team at this level. I suppose once again it's down to us taking a fair percentage of those chances. This style could be what this team needs instead of score and defend crap from Sarly and Mr. ( be careful not to lose Burns )

Halifax are suffering badly on the injury front, Think they have about 10 first teamers out.

I'm going to go 1-4 to Pools
Mani 2, Madine & Grey to score
Same scenario as last Saturday - take early lead, pegged back, then win at a canter

Crowd 2222
265 Poolies in attendance

knowing us we’ll win 2-1 and going on a run of form that teasingly takes us within touching distance of the playoffs……..but never actually get there….mind you, I’d expect a draw.

We've won 1 game in a row 9 times.

And 2 in a row only once.

Drew 16 which gets reverted to Shudda Wudda Cudda.

Results business.

We win 3 2 today 324 Poolies.

Should be a decent hard fought game this one. A few Halifax players I'm looking forward to seeing, and some of who I think could do a job for us. Always been a fan of their keeper Johnson, though I think he loves it at Halifax. Also Senior their CB would look good alongside Parkes. Looking forward to a compare and contrast between Hoti and Mancini in midfield, and Emmerson up front, I think is a player who could come good next season.

Halifax looked a bit jaded midweek, its that time of the year, Pools having a week off could be key.
They also don't score many, in fact scored less than Pools and that's saying something, haven't a player in the top goalscorer/assist charts, so its hard to imagine how they've amassed 14 pts more than Pools, but somehow they have.

Another draw shouldn't be beyond us, stats above suggest 1-1 or even a 0-0 but I'll go for a 2-1 defeat.

It’s never the amount of goals it’s where they’re scored..5- 0 victory only gets the same points as. 1-0 win…though I prefer the 5-0 if given a choice

after the last few years it is interesting looking at there players to see who we might sign for next season. cannot see many goals on there pitch but we all know all the bobbles will favour them. at least we might know whether the previous game was a flash in the pan or not. hope to get there for the kick off but i hate last minute parking and know now the traffic light gods will be against me.

I think we will take 500 fans down there. It’s the first reasonably close game in ages so I’m expecting a surprising amount. Pools to win 2-0 but I don’t know if the pitch will impact on how Mancini and Cleary play.

in theory worse the pitch is better players should be the ones who should cope the best. hope we attempt to play football when the ball is a decent distance from our goal and not just lump it forward using the pitch as an excuse.

Think the other night their oldest player on the pitch was 23.

This is correct, we are there for taking at the moment. Not through us even playing that badly, just that we are ridiculously injury ravaged at the moment. Most of the team are still in nappies. We are still however the hardest workers in the division, and if you aren't up
For it, we can still turn you over. If you are up for it, then player for player, you have the better team at the moment. I'm expecting a tough
Game.

No lulling :-D

We've had a horrendous month or so for injuries. Like I said we work hard, and that counts for quite a bit in this league, but we currently have 10 players out that would be vying to start games. It's ridiculous how bad this month has been injuries wise, and it's probably down to our
Pitch, which is abysmal and soft underfoot to then playing on hybrid pitches which are stronger underfoot.

Smithers unlike Mr Burns, now appears to appreciate that a draw is TWO points lost and is prepared to go for a win. Draws have killed our season.

He makes a huge difference but won't be needed today. We have Joe Mani and a lot more looking to impress other teams and get a transfer. And Mani playing against his old team will play well anyway and score 1 or 2.

Shit game . 5 corners and a few set pieces and we make nothing of them. Nadine for his height does not do enough. Gets beaten by smaller players all of the time. Clearly been quiet but his goal was good. Halifax dreadful. Another goal and it’s game over . But it’s a hard watch. Missing Mancini

The only time the ball direction is predictable is when it's in the air. Worst pitch I've seen in decades.

Not saying we Gunna win every game but just studyed Alty/ Heeds remaining fixtures.
And 70 pts should get 7th.

Did someone mention that Hope Scenario again!!!!!!!!!

We do appear to have given up scoring a second. Now reverting to hanging on to a single goal lead!
