Just for the fun (!) I had a look at the last 8 years of league standings. Not in any particular order the 4th bottom teams ended with the following points: 52, 48, 34 (year when Dover imploded) 42, 44, 48, 48, 50. So you'd expect 2 wins would be enough to be safe.

Surely we can have 2 games where we take our chances and don't screw up in defence? Please?

Well below Tamworth and only 1 point ahead of the likes of Braintree as well as being out at first possible opportunity in both cup competitions we entered is an absolute fucking disgrace !

and what's worse there is no one, the ex chairman, the arse board, the prior manager or the current manager who will come out and say that.
We are massively under performing and everyone involved in the club from the owner, the board, the manager , coaches and players should be seriously disappointed in themselves.

I can’t see us getting a grip…might as well put Ronnie in charge till the seasons end…..then as poolies we celebrate our glorious gallant fight like other clubs celebrate promotion.
It’s a tired old script …..one like it was in 1969 when I finally could afford a season ticket as a yoof.

I said it few weeks ago, we where in a relegation fight. I was hoping I was wrong and still hoping I'm wrong.

Of the 41 possible starts for our squad this season (38 league and 3 cup) only four players have started more than 30 games, namely Dieseruwe, Parkes, Ferguson and Sheron, this tells you what a weak, injury prone, inconsistent and in some cases ill disciplined group we have pulled together, some with long term injury issues and others who plainly are not cut out for the rigours of the professional game.

Whose fault is that?, have we signed badly?, or have we a bunch who tend to hide when the going gets tough?, quite of few of our "regulars" haven't even figured in 20 games this season, that tells a story in itself.

8 games to go. if we keep up our lack of form from the previous 8 that would give us 53 points. has anyone gone down with that number of points. doubt it. that still does not mean that this season has been the most boring and annoying on record and there has been some bad uns in the past.

Think this season 50pts will do, Will we do that.

how many have also picked up a mystery bug the day of a home gam or hours before the coach leaves for a long journey. for cynic like me they have thrown a sicky like we did to avoid a shit day at work to leave it to another mug to do. might happen once a season at a proper run club where players care for the club and the fans. hate to say this about anybody but some of this present lot do not deserve pools or any other full time club and need a bit of shift work in a crappy job to survive.
