4 out of the latest 20 threads on this board are actually about Pools, this board is getting worse for lack of Pools or even football content, used to be the best but not anymore I'm afraid.

Unfortunately there's not a lot to talk about, the football is predictable and we've nothing to play for. Plus there's quite a bit going on other than football at the moment.

Hang about…you average 11.5 posts a year.
With that rate of input the board would be like a waste land complete with tumbleweed rolling across the board…..you can only say ‘Raj out’ so many times when the footballs so dire..if you wanna kill the board off, just stick with repetitive coma inducing posts about the state of the club before you give up.

Here's a football related fact BB, in our history of seasons since we've played forty odd games the lowest number of home wins in a season is 5 on several occasions, so far in this god awful season we have 4 home games left and have won only 5 games out of our 19 so far, I honestly can't see us winning another this season, that's just how bad this season has been, and anybody who tells you otherwise needs a frontal labotomy imo.

Hang about…you average 11.5 posts a year. * I'm more of a reader , hence the comment about not much Pools stuff on here.

With that rate of input the board would be like a waste land complete with tumbleweed rolling across the board…..you can only say ‘Raj out’ so many times when the footballs so dire.. *If you check any of my 11.5 posts a year, I think you'll find that 'I've not once said ''Raj out''

if you wanna kill the board off, * I never mentioned killing the board off, was merely suggesting that it's not so much as a Pools/football related forum these days

just stick with repetitive coma inducing posts about the state of the club before you give up.
* Similar to above, I'm not entirely sure, although fairly confident, that I also haven't written any posts about the state of the club, performances maybe, but not the state of the club.
Maybe when you were researching my 11.5 posts a year, you should have read them, wouldn't have took you long, there's only 11.5 after all , but still, as you sometimes say, why ''let the facts get in the way'' of a good slagging off to someone who rarely comments, but perhaps that's one of the reasons he doesn't hey.

Must be close to the record for the number of draws AND 0-0 draws in a season as well.

If we had won just half those draws we would be well in with a shot at the playoffs. It's extremely annoying the way this particular season has simply dwindled away. banghead

AND we really should of won at least half of them mate, we really should with the amount of chances we created in some of them, I think we can also blame the awful habit of sitting back a bit too much after taking a lead as well though, we never seem to get back in their faces straight after taking a lead.

Without checking think it was only Aldershot at home where we have won a game by more than 1 goal. (Apologies if I've missed a game) However, over 38 games in a bang average league- that is shocking and tells you everything you need to know about our woeful season refred

That's a spot on assessment Mr. Bluebones. It does seem strange that we have had 3 managers this season and all 3 have had the same way of playing in as much as we dont score enough and you are correct in saying we sit back instead of going for a second. And again your right with the number of chances missed in most of those games. To be honest its criminal when you consider how easy a lot of those chances were. Some so simple my 92 yr mother could have scored them. That said it was definitely not deliberate on the players side ...maybe pressure to do well.

Oh absolutely not deliberate by the players, it beggars belief though just how some of these players, Mani D, Madine, Joe Grey and the rest just seem incapable of even getting a little prod or head on some of these chances sometimes, how can they all be so unlucky all at the same time, often you can say about strikers, that, they're not scoring because they're not being given the service BUT, there ARE most of the time, there's not many games that we have drawn where we haven't actually had chances to score, we are just not, I've been saying for months that someone is gonna get a battering off us one day but it still hasn't happened !!!!

It is indeed strange mate that's for sure. I have wondered for many years now if Pools are cursed because it would be hard to argue against it.

even the teams below us apart from ebbsfleet have done better including the odd shock result along the way. the seasons highlights will be very short this season and the player of the season award scrapped until next season.

Heard a whisper from my sauce, that after much deliberation the end of season review video (VHS Scotch tape, naturally) is to be titled-

'100 Great Throw Ins!' bbolt

I would give our player of the year award to Danny O'Connor, let's be honest he's had to work extremely hard this season as the queue outside his treatment room was right along the corridor.

And he told me he give up his summer holidays to help get Doddsy fit. Probably the most genuine caring person Pools have employed in many many years.

Spoke to Danny in the bar after the Brackley debacle. I was very impressed, he was more than happy to chat, after a really difficult night. Probably stopped me from crashing me car on the way home- such was my fury at the final whistle.
He's one of very few to emerge with any credit from this most forgettable of seasons.

prefer to listen to him in the odd interviews he gives than the bullshit that drips from the mouths of the others. does seem more approachable than the rest of them at the club by just looking an ordinary guy you,d meet in a pub with no airs and graces saying do you know who i am etc.
