Just flicked on to the rugby and an interviewer said to the England captain that '...you need Scotland to do you a solid.'

My immediate thought was Scotland doing a shit. Turns out 'doing a solid' means doing a favour.

What the actual fuck?

It's one thing for street urchins to have their own language but does it need to appear in grown up language too? And the thing is it's no different in terms or words used so you couldn't even say it's a lazy version of getting the same message across. Absolute fucking clowns.

And don't get me started on 'from the get go', that absolutely boils my piss. For starters it literally makes no sense and it's longer to say that than 'from the off' or 'from the start'. What the fuck is going on?

apart from sport being shit a lot of the times the language used in it is worse. the worst is when a player comes back from injury and they are back on the grass in training. even worse if that raining is on an artificial pitch. a player is on fire whats that all about especially if its happening on a comentary from valley parade.
