I seem someone on Twitterx saying that RS was worse than Coxberg. Now hang on a god damn minute……

Singh said all along that he had a financial limit of about £1m. He had undoubtedly kept the club afloat since he took over and overall is out of pocket in a substantial way. That’s a very different scenario from Coxberg who raped the club from top to bottom and left a debt ridden shell. Just for balance.

He’s made a lot of bad decisions along the way but I still believe his intentions were good from the start. A wealthy man but not a billionaire.

I don’t know the in outs but Pools are owned by Clarence whatever Singh being the owner of that company which has debt. Singh hasn’t made Pools part of his own company which I believe IOR did as a tax avoidance scheme admitted by Hodcroft on Switch of Play.
Whatever really annoys me is the expectations of some fans for Singh to throw millions at the club money he doesn’t have.
Saying he made a few mistakes maybe an understatement was probably due to bad advice, he took a chance on some managers which didn’t work out. There was no way Challinor was going to stay, I think he was a bit premature in sack Lee but hung on to others too long.

To be fair I don't think anyone wants Raj to throw millions at it, they just want some competency. What has gone on over the past 7 years (bar the years with Challinor) has been turgid with wrong decision after wrong decision being made and costing us our League status, not through any form of corruption but through complete mismanagement. You can blame his advisors but ultimately if someone has made this many bad decisions it's either down to them or they are the most unlucky person in the world. His legacy will be what he makes of it, either he kills the club or hands it on to someone else to (hopefully) take it forward. While he might not have had bad intentions, if he follows through with his threat he will have ultimately completed what Coxall started after fixing their damage.

We are at a critical stage currently at Poolsd with the Singh statement, try sticking to the topic and provide sensible replies instead of criticising individual posters replies.

Obviously my post was too intellectual for you to understand Leggie and it went right over your head Leggie.
Now settle yourself down Leggie and try and post constructive ideas how Pools can move forward.

Currently we’ve got around £3m of debt due to RS companies and Sage. The latter was turned into a loan with variable payments dependant of the success of the team such as extra revenue from cup runs. Any new owner would have to either pay this off on completion of the purchase or agree a payment schedule. A new club would start with zero debt.

We should have started again before Raj got involved like you have said from the beginning. Now is still not too late with zero debt and a decent stadium in our own town. For me this is a viable way forward because unless we attract a " A " lister or similar we will eventually end up back on the same shore further down the line.

"In outs" should be "ins and outs".
"Whatever" should be "What".
"Maybe" should be "may be".

I just can't see anyone wanting to take on a debt of that amount with a club hurting towards division 6.

When a new start in division 7 is no debts.

If me n my team metaphorically speaking were very rich then would 100% be a fresh start.

100%

Will be the quickest way to get back into the EFL.
Sure the majority would accept a 5 year plan.

No guarantees like in Football.
Look how lucky as Fcuk we were at Ashton Gate to get that short stay in the EFL.

Can't see a new club starting in div 7, more likely div 8 at best.
Going bust instead of Raj taking over would've deprived us of Bristol and the best ever day for most Poolies so just for that I'm pleased we didn't start again.

Yeah let's remember we had a great day we had a great team and we had big crowds. Short sighted penny pinching cost us league football though. We had it in our grasp of a club ready to take off and a few people behind the scenes destroyed it in ridiculously quick time.

We will either start in the northern league or the old evo stick league which would be 2 leagues below darlo. If we can't win that league on a club pulling in the crowds we get and the extra finance we would have over these teams, then we might as well just call it all a day.

I haven’t seen any figures so this is guesswork but this 3 million compared to what was offered is possibly the gap between what was wanted to what that consortium was offering. As I say, that’s just a guess.

It's not just a guess it's an educated guess and you are probably the only one who understands the back ground of this football club from the outside.

It's not something I would normally do Leggie, because you can understand what the vast majority of people mean even if their written English isn't perfect. It also makes you look like you're being a bit of a smart arse - which is something I try to avoid.

But in this instance, I'm afraid that Jamie Shakespeare had already mounted his mighty high-horse and was pretty much begging for it.

I understand exactly Kenny. This correction of English and grammar has constantly been thrown at me now for at least 6 months. I agree we all do understand mostly what others post. This time though it was me who put it his way in the hope he can see how arrogant this is on a football forum. He replied this time with what he normally posts first but hey. Don't get me wrong I am no angel in this and we do not get along at all. I quite enjoy a wind up and so does Jamie which is fine. I am not the only one he throws this education stuff at either but It's not a problem from my side. Anyway thanks

Agree with top post-am no fan of Singhs recent decision making and reaction to criticism but its grossly unfair to put him anywhere near the category of scum like Coxhall

Wonder what that piece of human garbage is doing now--hopefully badly

Raj is nowhere near that bad but he is a very silly stubborn individual who loves to be loved and absolutely hates others getting any praise at the club. banghead He was on the crest of a wave after gaining promotion and should have capitalised on it but instead he tossed it all away. Absolutely no sympathy from me like.

I woke up with anticipation to see your reply Leggie, you didn’t disappoint me, I had a good giggle whilst drinking my tea this morning almost spat it out. It would appear most posters understood what I wrote judging by their replies without criticising my English. No idea why you deviated from the topic to lambast me ?
You will still be tucked up in your cot with a cuddly Kermit, you have an obsession about frogs. I sometimes wonder wether your an adolescent teenager but you mentioned grandkids before so obviously not, you have 43 in user name, does that make you are 81 years old ?
If you feel you need to keep criticising me why don’t you start a topic about me, get it off you chest if it would make you feel better.

that was his mistake by not selling the club once we were back into the league. he must have known then he had not got the money to fully fund a league club that could not accomodate only a few more than a 6,000 home gate no matter what level we got to. after that it seemed one mistake after another and even challinor said that one of the number of reasons he gave for leaving was the clubs ambition being less than his. makes you wonder what this ambition was when they sacked a manager after two good cup runs and finishing in a position we can only dream of now. mind you if you look back there were plenty of fans as well who were unhappy how that season ended.

So you woke up in ‘Anticipation’….did it rise to the occasion? Obviously not, so instead we get the ‘Blofeld in the Jungle script’ again.

So you’re getting out your Shakespeare ‘Novel’ instead…….her’s three that typify Starmer,

‘Loves Labour Lost’…..or …Comedy of Errors’…or even ‘Much ado about Nothing’….all carry his trademark.

Then there’s the Shakespeare titles he may want to change, in his brave new world.

Merchant of Venice becomes The Bullshit Merchant of Venice

Julius Caesar becomes ………Winter Fuel Allownance Seizer

All’s well that ends Ends Well…All’s well that doesn’t end well at all

Romeo and Juliet becomes ….Romeo and Romeo

Titus Andronicus becomes …Tight as a Duck’s Arse

Very good Snowy, is Leggie incapable of replying to my posts Snowy or are you now his secretary. He did reply in his very usual immature way with a load of emojis, he really needs to learn how to write Queens English.
