At last a bit of common sense even if it's profit driven.

The shareholders are losing money compared to other company’s in the field because of their green business that apparently ain’t making the coin. Simple

Cheers for that Leggie7

Don't suppose we should be too surprised
Shareholders and the Donald's 'Drill baby drill' stance. They don't want to miss out on all the black liquid gold.

One looney veggie was chuntering on about freeing the animals on farms…the silly sod forgot that when we can’t eat meat any more, they probably become extinct, a sort of genocide of farm animals…let’s be honest, cows, pigs, sheep and chickens ain’t gonna end up sleeping in a basket in front of the fire as a pet, are they.

Not only BP, the move comes as rivals Shell and Norwegian company Equinor have also scaled back plans to invest in green energy and US President Donald Trump's "drill baby drill" comments have encouraged investment in fossil fuels.

While we plough on , on the road to nowhere encouraged by Millibean, the Court Jester.
Apparently we’re doing this to be leaders setting an example for the rest of tho world to follow.
Our lives are being changed for the worse for fools, to be martyrs for their naive obsessions and we let them., they’re just middle aged students who never grew up.
The Committee yesterday were unveiling all sorts of eco lunacy ….cutting back on meat production by a third…..to stop global warming….vegan alternatives and cutting farming by a third… there’s a surprise.
Under clowns like this we have to realise our life styles have peaked and it’s downhill with no hand brake under these people.

they would be in front of the queue to demonstrate the day they all went to the slaughterhouse. be a change from stopping oil and welcoming illegal immegrants. can we demontrate outside restaurants that reduce the menu to cater for bloody vegans.

we'll just do the same as we always do, let our livestock farmers go to the wall then import stuff from abroad to fill the gap, including fertiliser to replace the stuff the livestock produced for free

It's rare these days, but probably does still happen in and around Peterlee.

It's been a fair while since Bombay Grove and Little India was levelled, in the early 80's. Though the story of the horse, with it's head hanging out a first floor window was legendary!

Renewing my car insurance and while binning off existing on a comparison site, the one I picked like for like £100 cheaper but I have zero interest in their three paragraphs on how green they are and carbon footprint, I should be more interested but I just want the best deal.

i,d actually pay more to a company with zero green credentials and the only footprint they want to see is one in the sand.

I watched a documentary last night, a MOD spokesman said the wind farms off the coast are blocking the radar which detects incoming missiles, aircraft and ships. They are currently trying to develop a system to get round it, obviously never mentioned by the greens.

these people could not care less and are totally obsessed by their agenda. any single problem that is brought up by others will be ignored in their wish to turn back the clocks a few hundred years.

I suspect that’s the idea.. the recent report to the government said meat production should be reduced by a third if vegan food was promoted to reduce gases from farm animals…all of a sudden pissing the farmers off makes sense to them…..it also helps globalism by importing foods from the third world much more cheaply and providing employment for overseas investment.
Not forgetting all the land needed for solar panels…..it’s all coming together for the eco bunnies.

At the time Yuills wanted to buy the houses and refurbish them and sell them privately but for some reason the Council bulldozed them.
