I went to Russia as it started to open up and that is what it looked like, grey and dull with no colour and miserable looking people. Living in one of those tower blocks would make you drink 2 bottles of vodka a day. On arrival back in Blighty i took the train back to British West and the views of our green land with blight coloured vehicles was uplifting.
I feel sorry for the Ruskies but not their leaders.

might have done then but this country has gone backwards in overdrive since those days and they have not got diversity, inclusion and equality to live with like we have had pushed in our faces.

I used to fly into Atyrau in Kazakhstan before going offshore the background of the photograph reminded me of place, old fashioned depressing looking buildings built in the days of the old regime. It was the only place I have ever felt unsafe, not recommended to go out alone no matter what time of day.

i,d go anywhere in this country night or day but once the darkness comes down i,d be wary of walking around any big city, towns in the north west or parts of yorkshire. not overkeen on taking the dog out for his nightly piss now.
