Mike Fondop 14 goals 5 assists. Would you have him back I wouldn't but to be fair to him he seems to have found his club at last. All he needs to do now is respect supporters from previous clubs it's a long way down you should never burn your bridges.

I think Pools is the only team he has played for and not scored!

Another example is Chay Cooper, who we had on loan from Colchester at the back end of last season. He looked like he was just making up the numbers whenever he got on the pitch in a Pools' shirt.

Anyway, he turned down a new contract offer fom Colchester to join Braintree and so far this season has 3 goals and 5 assists for them... :?

anyone watching him would have been hard pushed to see a league player in him. could say the same about chapman for us. possibly he,d have looked a better player with another league club than with us with better players around him. there is definatly a level down as well as upwards where players can be a success.

Daniel Kemp is the real deal, since his 9 in 16 for us he's scored 14 in 25 for Swindon last season and now has 8 in 18:for Stevenage in the league above, and that's from midfield.

We could have had him if Raj paid him £3,500 per week on a 2 year deal. That was the wage he was on at MKD but nar way above our wage bill. banghead Let's be honest Campbell or Kemp from what I was told Campbell is on similar wages over 2 years. banghead Combine any two of Pools shit signings over last two years in exchange for Kemp would you have taken that sctatchinghead I would have exchanged 3 fookers for him.

If Campbell is on £3,500 a week then we should swap his kit for horizontal stripes and give him a mask.

Loads who were shit or at best average for Pools who went on to do better for other clubs, Fondop, Ogle,, Cooper, Wreh,, Goodwin, Olamola, Tom White, Jake Cooper, Saunders, Critchlow-Noble, Amos, Rodgers, Keena, just a few that spring to mind.

Of course there are plenty that were shit and sunk even lower after leaving Pools.

Of course not every player will turn out to be a good un, but Pools do have a habit of not getting the best out of the players they sign.

As for loan players, there is usually a good reason for that player to be going out on loan, and if its to Pools, its probably because they are struggling at their parent club. If Pools do sign a good un, and they manage to impress, there is little chance of Pools being able to sign them permanently , as would've no doubt been the case with Kemp, Burey, Joe White etc.
