I wish UK or Europe could develop AI and social media platforms that we could effectively regulate to remove terror links and misinformation etc so that we don't have to use the unregulated tech developed in the US. I don't know what the barrier is? I don't want to be held to ransom by Musk, Zuckerberg et al and other Trump cheerleaders. It appears the Chinese developed their AI cheaply and quickly so why can't we?

The U.K. couldn’t even develop a Test and Trace system during Covid spending £37 billion never mind an AI system.
Without bold investment in computing resources, training data, and talent, the benefits of AI will disproportionately flow elsewhere, leaving the UK vulnerable.

He needs to get his finger out then, AI will cause loads of job losses very quickly, the U.K. doesn’t have funds required to invest in AI as we are in deep s***, we are a minnow in a big pond when it comes to AI.

Spot on. The more censorship we have, the better. Lets make sure the governments version of truth cannot be challenged.

I'd rather have the world according to the BBC than the world according to Elon Musk

Why does it have to be one or the other? Both have their own agendas. Musk doesnt try to hide it whereas the BBC pretend they are telling us the truth when their main interest is indoctrination.

At least we are not funding Musk unlike the eternal flow of licence-payers cash draining into the woke-ridden propaganda machine that continues to sickeningly portray itself as the noble and trustworthy BBC.

Funny how Hislop never "sums up quite nicely" Starmer or Rachel from accounts. Hislop is strangely silent about the key issues destroying our country but has a go at a foreign business man giving his opinion on a national scandal.

Haven’t the Tories had a hand in that after all their years in power and 5 Prime Ministers, let’s judge Labour a bit longer not just a few months. As Hislop said in his interview never a day since Labour came to power The Sun, Telegraph etc they don’t make front page, I don’t recall that in the Tory days.
