Just been for my nightly walk and yet again we have hundreds of stars but no moon. I believe that's 6 nights in a row now so where is it. Apparently it is there ( approx 250 thousand miles away ) but we can't see it but we can see the stars from trillions of miles away in every direction including above. I find it extremely strange even after reading the reasons they give.

It was there this morning so maybe slept in?
On a clear night Venus is very bright and Saturn, Jupiter and Mars are all visible to the naked eye. Apparently you can see the rings around Saturn with a pair of binoculars or telescope but I'd probably get arrested if someone saw me.

I understand all of that but still find it extremely strange. Me and Mutters spent years star gazing but somethings are not quiet the way we are told by the scientists.

Bloody hell " Our Kev " I had no idea Hartlepool was that big. I once did a sponsored walk around Hartlepool years back ....No wonder it took over 20 years to complete.

Sure I've seen it nearly every night in the last week.
