Give York 3000 tickets for Rink n Town Ends.
House the usual 300 townenders in West Side of ground.

And they would sell out.

Would it be worth it with the additional Policing and Security costs that would be required ?

never give any club more than our allocation we give others. if we did it would show how really tin pot we have become just to make a few quid out of fans who only come once a year and upset a few who might be regulars on the way.

We used to give away fans both ends under the end days of Gibson…and yes we looked absolutely tinpot…..beating Burnley 4-1 after skedd kicked the shit out of Heath is still one of my favorite games like

Give them the same amount of tickets they normally sell when visiting the Vic. Reckon that would be well below the amount the rinkend alone holds.

What a game that was, think they both got sent off and continued scraping all the way across to the corner, in the days when the changing rooms were in the Clock Garage. They also had Ted McMin sent off. We finished with 10 and they had 9- it was brutal. Couldn't tell you who scored mind- would have to consult Mad John's Poolie Compendium. Must have been about '93- '94- definitely before the ground revamp

Some on here think it’s more common sense to sit at home and watch it on the fire stick. Then criticise from the comfort of the settee.

I don't remember them ever bringing enough up to fill the Rink End. And if we moved the regulars from the Town End there's probably plenty wouldn't go.
