Mathurin - loan finished
Grey - out for 2 months
Mancini out for 2 months
Campbell out for at least a month
Lualua —contract up end of Jan

And Lawrence is saying Joe Monks working on trying to get 1! In

We are having the piss taken out of us that this club is serious about trying to make the playoffs….cant wait to hear Raj end of season bullshit interview where he ‘takes responsibility’ before blaming everyone else then also claims if anyone
Was ‘serious’ about buying the club he would go.

Wonder how much longer this can go on and what anyone involved is getting out of it by way of enjoyment…

Good luck waiting for a response from Raj, that would mean communication to the fans and communications are deafening

Mathurin was nothing special and hardly got a start.

In both Lawrence's post-match interviews on Saturday he said he expected Joe Grey to be out for 4-6 weeks and that Mancini would be back sooner than that. But I think you probably know that, don't you?

Sounds like Campbell will be back in the squad for the Woking game this Saturday.

LuaLua hasn't worked out. Shame for him - but his wage can't be reused till his contract has expired, can it?

And I get my enjoyment out of Pools by going to home games along with 3,000 + others. Maybe you should try it sometime? It's a whole lot more fun than reading some of the shite that gets posted on here. Thank you for asking

It amazes me that people expect updates from Raj, what club chairman has ever done that at any level?
I wouldn't even rely on everything that LL says to be true either. A week ago he said he didn't need anyone now having lost 2 he says we might be able to get 1 in.
Anything is still possible this season, and as ever looking forward to Saturday and hopefully a good win.

You are correct PTID, anything is still possible this season - including involvement in a relegation battle. On too many occasions in the past we have witnessed Pools put in a strong first half of the season only to fizzle out in February as players lose motivation and fans lose interest as the end of the season approaches. Couple this with the bottom sides strengthening their squads and fighting for their lives - Wealdstone being a current example - and you have a perfect storm.

If Singh, Lawrence and his oppos are serious about maintaining a playoff push, all will be revealed shortly as without at least two or three decent additions we may as well draw a line under 24-25 and start planning for NLN.

where have I asked Raj to speak?--I just said I sarcastically I cant wait for what he says on his usual end of season interview.

Hogans--we are plodding along in mid table with time running out----if you think we have a few months to wait for the players mentioned to get fit then you obviously aren't arsed about us trying to make the playoffs (like many of the people running the club)

I thought that was Ronnie Moores job to identify players, is he still at Pools ?

not bothered if i never hear from him again. more interested in actions to replace injured players and an attempt to strenghen the side like we did bringing in parkes and waterfall last season. not for a play off push but looking towards next season as well.

I blame my 'glass half full' personality. I'm hoping to see a win on Saturday and a decent new signing in by the end of the week.

I could be wrong on both counts - but I'll still enjoy life more than some of the miserable fuckers I can think of

That is true but I can only but hope, like everybody else. I wish I could do something about it but sadly I can't.
I suppose I could jump up and down, criticising anybody and everybody but those that persistently take that road have got absolutely nowhere, so that route has been done to death.
I'm waiting patiently for the Messiah, you know the one that has yet to join the queue winding it's way down Clarence road. If you have any idea on how to gee him up, please get on with it. I'll be ever so grateful. really I will.

Supporting a club at this level or any level come to that, never fails to cause me to question the sanity of those who actually expect, even demand, every game to be won, every player to be brilliant and probably believe in fairy’s at the bottom of the garden…..if only it was that easy.

I don’t expect constant success but I expect effort from the club….i saw some shite while Hornsey was in charge but could accept that as everyone was doing their best with what they had for the club and appeared to care about how well we did

Maybe I am a ‘snob’ but we’ve been a football league club for the vast majority
Of my time supporting us and our history….we are a level below that and acting as though that’s our natural place and draws or narrow defeats against part time teams are what we should expect from now on.
It’s that malaise that I find frustrating….everyone from top to bottom seems to have accepted that’s the way it is….and yes me and others shouting the odds on here doesn’t change anything but what else can we do ?

As I said it feels like the club is going through
The motions and the appointment of a 78 year old insider who clearly is under no pressure and seems to be doing this as a part time hobby or favor for a mate is an insult to the fans who do actually give a shit

There no such fan especially us lot demanding all of that fantasy shit Snowy.

But it would be nice to not fail constantly in a tin pot division.
Let's open our eyes here and engage our brains.
The standard of this division is the worst ever.

Seems like there's a new acceptance level of how quickly the clubs standards have dropped of in ultra quick time.

Or maybe not..
All clubs have their Internet superfans who spit their dummy out when someone Knocks out a tad of criticism.

Stagnation has set in for sure.

Some windy weather on the way.

I think it’s nice to give everyone a kick up the arse just for the reaction and keep you on your toes.
Now regarding Storm ‘Armageddon Death Terror’ as named by the wokey weather shower to have us terrified of a windy day, I’d best nail down the wife when she’s putting the washing out….

It's a ploy to keep banging on about strong winds as it deters the boats from setting off at Calais. Nowt like a headwind to make your arms ache.

even when we gained promotion that never happened and it never will for anybody. even when we got back to the promised land of division 2 fans were not happy with a 17th finish in our first season back. look at how that turned out eventually, and if we ever do get back there again i hope fans remember this and not expect a back to back promotions which rarely happen. actually at one time pools finishing 17th was classed as a decent season just because we missed out on re election again.

When was the last time you remember any communication from Pools?

Ken Hodcroft? No further statement will be made.
TMH? plenty but all lies
Coxberg? plenty but all lies

You’ve got to go back to Paul Mullins and Harold Hornsey and that’s now a few decades ago.

Communication in many cases means nothing of any consequence because in general if you tell fans what they want to hear they’ll roll over on their back’s like puppies to have their collective belly’s scratched.
In all honesty do some people expect to be taken into any owners confidence and actually find out anything of importance other than bland assurances….because if you expect that you really are at junior school level emotionally..
You use your common sense and analyse a situation on the evidence of your own eyes and not expect to learn anything from external sources……to wait for answers shows naivety…you can tell when something’s not right by looking and listening to your own assessment of affairs.

As for Pools.
The Promotion pitch to sell STs is the usual summer bullshit.

Your assessment is spot on.
To get reality of false statements and false hopes.
Us Poolies just have to look at league table from Oct/Nov onwards most seasons.

And yet our Keeper spouting off fantasy tales in the Mail that we have a top 7 team.

Fact is Fact.
Only won 2 games in a row once all season and 13th.

That's the stark reality of fair assessment.
Personally I know we major style underachieving.

surely as each seasons go there will be less and less who believes anything that comes out of the club. if we do win 2 in a row again it will be looked at as some major achievment and not what others do on a regular basis. just draw the next 4 away games we know what will come up next. pools undefeated away from the vic in 2025.
