If we don't make to the playoffs minimum Raj wont have a leg to stand on. He will then have no choice but to leave unless he is prepared to go bankrupt. He will almost definitely lose the vast majority of supporters and won't have a bucket to piss in. He has played us all for many years now and that old saying of " chickens have come home to roost " will haunt him till his last days in charge and remind him of the total and utter disaster he has been as owner. rakxe

Well we sure as hell wont be in the play offs so the end of the season will be interesting for a whole variety of reasons.

I am still wearing my rose tinted glasses and still firmly believe we will make the playoffs. Auld Mr.Burns needs to grow a pair and start being positive or foook off simple. Raj has played with fire for years now and this time he will burn his fingers unless we make the playoffs. His time will 100% come to the end in May if we fail yet again.

i saw Sollihull won and are picking up form--so unless we beat Oldham we are best case 7 points off the playoffs, with Barnet away to come....would have to be some extreme optimism to think we are making 7th this year

Surely 2025 has to be the year Raj goes! Just let someone else have a try and give the club a much needed boost and hopefully a new lease of life!. Club is just stale.

The season ticket money must run out about now, no cup money, attendance down - if he wants the club to keep going he’ll have to put his own money in or sell a player. Either way it’s not good. Agree with some of the posts above, he surely will go this season or the club goes.

Can't see him being out of pocket since he became Chairman.

Been some nice little Arthur Daley Earners.

But imagine that Menu is now History.

This was posted somewhere else Mikey....

"On that cup money Mr ****....

It wasn't just cup money, the club also got decent compo for Challinor and sold a couple of players for undisclosed fees. Someone from Pools reckoned we made a £1.2 million profit that financial year. He's a massive bullshitter and was keen to claim the credit but even the books confirm the best part of a million. That money was used to pay off debt to Raj's Prestige Group through Clarence 18. The only money he ever paid to Sage was 90k for us being promoted and there are no "Coxhall debts", John Blackledge (Sage) took them over and then wiped them as part of the deal with Singh.

Over the last couple of years Singh has used a £1.2 million loan he made under Covid from Sports England to cover the shortfall at the club each season. That, the parachute payments, and season ticket sales have pretty much covered the club's costs. Next season he'll have no parachute payments, no Sports England cash left to dip into and the repayments on the Sports England money will start - I think this is about 80k a year. In other words, from February/March the club is going to cost him more money per month than it ever has before and next season will be expensive for any owner. That's why I remain optimistic that he'll sell sooner rather than later.

If he stays, past behaviour suggests that anything he puts in will be in the form of debt to his other companies which will ultimately make the club unsellable. At that point his most attractive option will be to put it out of business and take the tax benefits of his other businesses writing off their loans. That's why everyone in the consortium bust a gut to try to get a deal, we all think the club is in serious danger if Singh stays".

Very interesting don't you think?? sctatchinghead

There's debts to "previous owners" of around £1.7m mentioned in the accounts every year since Raj took over. Been consolidated into a payment scheme but doesn't seem to be reducing much, if at all.
He's also formally committed to financially supporting the club up to the 25th July 2025 so given the loss of income from parachute payments and in the almost guaranteed continuance at NL level we're heading for interesting times.

biggest worry for me is the higher earners out of contract at the end of the season will not be offered another and be replaced by cheaper options. if they are poorer then the team gets even poorer and gates will fall even more. a spirel down to disaster and somehow needs stopping before it happens. our problem as fans is all we can do is watch and hope. only a fool or those with money to burn will buy a season ticket if that looks likely to happen.

Maybe cheaper options who can gell as a team are more effective, Gateshead and others seem to have found the formula.

This is the money owed to Blackledge that was consolidated to a much lower amount payable on success of the football club. The most recent accounts have the likely repayments as £110,000. It was reduced by £50,000 from the previous years accounts.
The only significant money we owe is to Raj Singh (£1.1 million) and Sports England (£1.2 million). Will be interesting to see if our debt to Raj's companies goes up in the next accounts.

The way I see it next seasons team will be a lot shitter than this season.
Out of contract erst.
So called decent ones will be off.
Shite like Fergy n Fevs etc will take pay cuts to stay.
Still a major goal keeping problem.

STs down to 1500 tops.

Sponsorship down.

4 4 2 and a shit load of luck for 2nd half of the season to avoid all that.

Semi better idea come 5pm today.

but are they and are their cv,s much worse than our players ones are. difference is others seem to find gems to sell on eventually to help balance the books where we never do anymore. even the better ones we do have are only average performers at this level and that includes mancini and manni d who get a good press from the fans. even dodds who i had high hopes of has not pushed on after his injury and is not a nailed on starter as he once was. same can be said of joe grey who for his sake needs a new challenge.

a win today like a defeat at gateshead will prove nothing in the long term future of the club. finishing this season in any position above last seasons 12th can only be regarded as treading water without a hint of promotion.
