I loved it back in the day when every day was a countdown to the next Pools game. The backend of IOR and what happened after and then Raj has just killed it for me.
I hope I can get it back with whoever is next in...after Raj kills us.
I think a lot on here will think the same...sadly.

I have to admit, it's not very often I agree with anything you say, but on this I am in 100% agreement with you. Let's hope the good times come back sooner rather than later & we can all enjoy the good times again!!

The Vic was a special place up until recently when you got 5000+ in the ground especially the NWC.
The feeling when it used to rock and going mental when we scored and the players clapping the fans for 3 minutes after full time.

Even in our first relegation to non league v Doncaster absolute electric atmosphere.
Was talking to some of their fans after the game and they said the atmosphere was unreal the best they have ever been in.

Then Rotherham when we nearly got to Wembley.
Unreal the noise level.

Will be devastated if I have to go thru the rest of me life never to experience that special atmosphere that makes you proud n honoured to be a Poolie.

As it stands now today its just false hope which does your head in.
And the standards and acceptance levels of today are absolutely disgusting.

Positive takeover urgently required.

To Raj Pools are nothing but a cash cow, lets just hope after the final league payment he sells up and disappears never to be heard of again and a new owner takes over who is interested in the club and the community it represents. I seem to remember on the old badge it said Hartlepool the town's club. I live in Essex and know several people both in the town and outside of it who will no longer go while Raj id there. Also his attitude and arrogance has I believe put off prospective buyers who will not deal with him directly.

I know you very well....but the NWC can fuck right off. We use to take the piss out of fans with drums etc. It's not Pools....Hartlepool United is voices...chanting...singing...stick your fucking drum up your arse!!! Now it's the norm!?!? It's not HARTLEPOOL UNITED.

The voice noise and view from back row of block F was brilliant so hardly heard the drum.

to be fair to them drums are the thing now at many clubs. its just different to when we were young. you could say we are not unique and are copying others but without the NWC and a pools goal the place would be like a graveyard at midnight. nowhere better than the vic on a good days with pools winning but completely the opposite when things are not going our way.
