Dunno about being called ‘The Glovers’……I always think of them as the ‘Choppers’ because they’ve been making helicopters there for Nearly 80 years.

The usual dull format.
But we scrape a 1 goal win.
It's only Yeovil not Celtic.

Guaranteed (providing we don't lose), regardless of how well we play, their manager Mark Cooper will give us zero credit - as he fucking hates Pools.

He seems to have a short memory, after going on a one man strike and acting liking an over entitled bellend in his playing days with us (circa '96).

For that reason hope we rip them a new one

5 nil victory - Mani D, Mancini, Campbell, Waterfall & Fev to score.

Crowd 3655
27 from Yeovil

Mr Burns Blue and White Army!

feel the same way about him due to his old man and having to be split up by players after a youth team game he was at. typical little shit.

saturday could go anyway. the starting 11 might go a long way towards what type of game we will see. heaven help us if we go all gung ho with the shackles off and the game ends in a defeat as we,ll never see that happening again.

Might be making this up, but wasn't there a rumour that he had a clause in his contract if he scored double figures, the club had to pay a bonus/offer a new contract. He was left out after he scored 9 goals !
To be fair, he was quite a decent player.

3-1 win provided Mancini gets at least 60 minutes.
Failing that a 1-1 bore draw.

Up to now there is no indication that Lawrence has any intention of giving Mancini any more than a few minutes so I agree, a bore draw seems the most likely outcome.

My company moved him up from Exeter to Stokesley and btw his blonde wife back then was stunning
He told me he had a bonus inserted into his contract that he got a bonus if he reached double figures. He did not tell me the amount but said that was the main reason he chose Pools because he knew he would achieve double figures otherwise the wage was not good enough. I met him several times and he said the Chairman told the manager he cannot play for the club again. And he was a good player but the story about him going on strike was totally unfair because he kept on asking to be played. It all ended badly but the manager basically foooked up telling the Chairman that Coops would never hit double figures so got him on the cheap.

This has 1-1 on it all day. Just hoping, hoping for a 1-0 to us. Mancini coming on last 20 mins. Unlike most of the bunker I don’t think he should start. Not played his best since injury imo. Can go past one or 2 players then falls over or loses the ball. Bit of an enigma .

Think Lenny needs now to take a few more risks in bringing on substitutions a bit earlier. Maybe 3 at a time. I think we are playing ok but it’s now sink or swim because we are playing a number of the top teams. So we need to defend like tigers, the goaly needs to be 100% alert and command his box and we need to be expansive on both wings. We need 4 or 5 running in to the box with every attack. I know this creates more counters but we now need to take more risks and go up a notch if we are going to get into the playoffs. We are doing ok but ok won’t get us in the top 7

It's still a mystery to me how he's got this cult status.

When he does get on the pitch he needs to upgrade his end product.
IE: Score or assist GOALS.

Lens said on numerous occasions that we never Gunna get a full game out of him under his managementship.

So it's start or Supersub.

And if he does produce a bit of magic today.
Then it has to be repeated for the remainder of the season.
Why?
Current league table is pathetic for a big fisg club with an excellent budget which Len keeps saying.

Less bullshit.
More wins.

Shit or bust time where hope from us lot plays no part.

Nice bit of early morning crack/bullshit to certain posters.

Considering he has NOT been given a fair crack of the whip, imo
He and Dodds caused Tamworth enough problems to consider a start for both.

Lenny does not come across as a risk taker to me, And he picks the team and tactics.

The commentary on Radio Tees with Rob Law and Higgy was hilarious when the advertising banner stopped the game. Was it 12 or 18 minutes, health and safety etc etc............only at Pools
