Apparently the guy is up in court for doing this and family and friends are rallying around to support him.
I did witness this a few days ago and the person i saw was tipping sacks of feed(?) on the grass at the top of Church Square with hundreds of gulls and pigeons filling the skys.
I hope he gets some help and support it was much more than "feeding the birds" its a public health issue..

He had a court order against him already for this and throwing handful’s of bird seed and bread to feed the ‘dicky birds’ also includes rats. I’ve seen him down Burn Road and the rats there are fat enough..

its not doing it what causes the problems but the amounts thrown that is far too much for any flock of birds to eat. i put seed out on one of my walks in the morning and when i walk back its more or less all gone. you see some with a full loaf throwing it into a lake where most will pollute the water uneaten.
