Just been appointed Millwall manger, his 6th managerial appointment, either sacked or left by mutual consent in 5 of his appointments, he must have built a canny bank balance through compensation and non disclosure agreements.

My point being the only profession where can move into your next job after being a failure in the last one.

Oh my mistake, I thought you were just resentful of someone making a good living for themselves simply by using the prevailing system.

I'm sure that Mr Rooney will re-join that "Club" soon. Is he still at Plymouth?

Managers are just on a carousel look at the likes of Pardew, Bruce, Allerdyce and hosts of others who are in double figures. Average length of time 2-3 years and a payoff not bad if you can get it. Must be a lot of Raj Singhs about

he,ll get a 7th club as well by leaving them or getting the sack. its as if there are a certain number of names always mentioned where clubs will pick one instead of giving a new one the chance from a lower division. to be honest if i owned a championship club i,d prefer giving someone like challinor a go rather than another stale name.

See Rooney has got the sack again. Thing is no matter who you are it’s results that count. Owners are sacking managers every day of the week yet posters on here think it’s only Raj who is useless at picking them.

difference is a lot we employ have had some success in the job before. all rooney has to offer was being a well known name. the annoying thing is that by some bad luck he replaced lenny it would put a few hundred on our gate for his first home game.

Reynolds started the long lingering death, then real damage was done by his successors who asset stripped, Raj was there at the e d but the damage had already been done.

its hard to imagine one single person having the bad luck to do this twice them and now us. does he have a higher opinion of his own ability to succeed as he has in reality.

He hasn't done it to us yet though. We're in better shape now than when he took over league position wise and existentially. That might be temporary though, who knows what tomorrow will bring.

Thought we were lower than we are now when he took over, still NL though. Think we finished the season bottom half.

If only one of the other rich benefactors in the queue to save Pools from administration had stepped in instead of Raj, I am sure we would be sooo much better off.

Haven't said I'm happy, just correctly stating facts.
We are where we are and the fastest way to get us further up the table is for the manager and coaching staff to start getting a tune out of this squad. If Raj went tomorrow and Elon Musk threw all his money at us Lennie wouldn't be fge man to take us forward imo.

Might be up four places by then. Featherstone probably still playing.

do not joke he might be after a couple of records for his name to be remembered for future generations. oldest pools player and oldest league player ever to play. him and lenny will be wizz kids in a quiz as history will feel like current events to them.

The Oldham fans would have brought a few bob in for Pools as well.

Good turn out by their fans yesterday, probably more there than in all the previous away supporters in total.
