Christmas by the side of the road - Huey and the New Yorkers

A thought provoking festive number from Huey Morgan - surprised that it gets so little airtime.

Not so much songs, but at Christmas there's a few Xmas albums I always like to put on. The Sinatra Christmas album, it's Frank doing all the classics, and the Ramsey Lewis trio sounds of Christmas, a Christmas jazz album. Great stuff.

That's a fantastic Christmas song, I've never understood why it doesn't get played much on radio or TV.

I suppose there’s a difference between say Carols and the competition for the Xmas number one spot bollocks.
.Starmer’s releasing his version of ‘I’m Dreaming of a Shite Xmas’ apparently

It's amazing peoples taste in music, no doubt Mr A. there is some music you like which I would consider pure SHIT.

Just another one for you to dislike, Johnny Mathis When a Child is Born.

The reason more than any other is that my youngest son was born on Christmas Day in 1988.

The Maternity Hospital adjacent to The Rosie in Cambridge only had the Wife in there along with about 5 nurses & 2 Doctors and plenty of food & drink.

Love that song - particularly the line when he says about, it doesn't matter what colour you are, Black, White, YELLOW! Always piss myself laughing - wouldn't get away with that nowadays

On a side note- when Cliff sang Wired for Sound on roller skates - he should have been wired to the mains!

I have nothing against them, I just think they are the most over rated thing in history - in any area of life, arts, science or anywhere else.

It don't matter if you're black or white according to PIE member Michael Jackson. Try telling that to a fooking polar bear!

See Mariah Carey, 'All I Want for Christmas Is You' is doing well again this year.

Not a bad tune, and nobody fills a Santa outfit like she does!
