Came across one of those small singles record cases in the loft which contained a load of records and going through them came across one from 1975 by a group called Hudson Ford with a single called ‘Burn baby burn’.
These were some of the lyrics…

Hudson Ford had two hits, the other one was a song called “Pick Up The Pieces”.

I’m pretty sure it was those two who went and formed The Monks, who of course had that great little song, “Nice Legs Shame About The Face” a song that would surely get them cancelled and beheaded now.

Snowy, Crazy Horses by the Osmands is another mid 70s eco song.

Another was a ‘B’ side by the kinks called Apeman, bit controversial at the time as it featured the word ‘fucking’ but was claimed to be ‘tugging’’…( of course it was … )
I mentioned on here before at college in the early 70’s one of he lecturers telling us the world had ten years left…I kid you not he looked like Neil off the Young Ones…one of the lads then asked him why he wasn’t out making the most of the time he had left then?..he stormed out…he’d lost the room totally….19 year olds can be annoying.
