Couldn't get a ticket- sold out really quickly.

Disappointed that there's no replays as it would have been carnage at Weetabix Park!

I work near Rushden and there was a bit of needle between a couple of kids in one of my classes last week, who are season ticket holders at Cobblers and the Poppies respectively. I'm normally have to remain impartial but I did side with the Ketrin fan!.

Would love it if they won and got a winnable tie in the second round.

Little known fact that Kettering are the all time leading scorers in the cup. Come on the Poppies!

Why not it's a one off in a crazy game called football. Northampton played with 10 men in midweek and Kettering have Nile Ranger up top with 6 goals in 9 games. Plus the young lad Hooper 36yrs on the bench. Going for 1-2 come on you Kettering  Both the lone Ranger up top.

Played well Second half Kettering, and a great header for the equaliser. Pity about the replay, but reckon they are capable of nicking a winner.
Come on The Poppies!

I said 1-2 but took Ranger to score both. At least he scored the second.

Well done Leggie- spot on with score.

Delighted for the Poppies- hope they get a decent draw tomorrow night. I don't have a second team as such, though having lived here almost 15 years, maybe just about qualify!

Plus I've never seen Pools win at Sixfields- in fact don't think we've won at their old ground by the cricket pitch since the 60's. (before my time).

you might have had a good little earner if you bet on the result and ranger to get the winner.

more pleased for them than tamworth. at least it was a better game played on a proper pitch and ground and the result decided on football itself and not the worst things about the game.
