Andy Pearce the Chorley boss is on the short list. That's according to my window cleaner who does sometimes get things correct.

He did say after the Forest Green defeat the manager had persuaded the Chairman to give him two more games. Sarll supposed to have said give me two more games and I will give you two wins. Well they beat Sutton and got beat of Brackley eventually. But he told me Askey will be given until after the January window but was sacked 3 weeks later. I very much doubt his sauce this time around, surely it's got to be a minimum standard of this league or above.

Just watched the Chorley goals - impressive finishing but they effectively walked through the Darlow defence. Darlo appeared to be wearing a replica Pools kit from the mid 70’s and looked like they were playing like a Pools throwback side too. Someone mentioned their boss Watson as a potential replacement for Sarll. Not on this performance - the guy has been backed heavily by the club and has introduced many new faces but Darlo are fast returning to the position they were in when he took over from the previous incumbent (who was mentioned earlier but I can’t recall his name).

think he has been a manager at numerous clubs where they stuck with him longer than we do with ours. at least he is somebody i actually know to speak to and aint a bullshitter but a decent sensible guy who says it as it is. Last time i saw him it was after our win in the play off game at stockport and being an ex player of them didn,t hold back on how poor their tactics were and how we played the positive football on the day.

Have a look at his CV - its actually quite good and tbh hes probably done alot more than DS. 750 games and counting.

was player manager at the time of Burys demise and did really well with them too. Then they went under unfortunately. But he managed to steer a ship sinking for some time - will fit just right here then !

Rob Law says the rumour Preece was being interviewed this week isn't true. John Coleman (ex-Accrington) and Neil Wood (ex-Salford) were both at the game last night though

coleman, a one club hero who is well over 60 and said he was falling out with the game due to how its gone. sounds a real exciting prospect for us and to work with raj. anyone else around at the OAP club bingo sessions we can go after.

Neil Wood would be a good shout - i think he is someone to offer something different. Young enough and has decent amount of experience and has actually played the game too which always helps.
