More chance of Larry. Grayson is helping out at Gateshead doing the training sessions. Magnay is the new boss another bloke Liam is assistant and now Grayson is trying to get back into football doing training. Reckon he knows his chances of management is well and truly over the hill just like himself.

Are these names plucked from a random programmed selection of names associated with Pools by a computer, no matter how tenuous or vague the link with the club.

Simon Grayson almost got the job before Hartley, Raj said as much in an interview, so no surprise to see him linked again now he's available.

He got the sack. A friend of mine went out to stay with him and go and watch a few games. When he set off S.G. was manager, when he got to the airport in India, he wasn't!!

I'm fairly sure Grayson is from Bedale originally- as a fella I used work with in Rushden, knew him quite well, back in the day. So should imagine in terms of locality, we would fit the bill- assuming he fancied another crack at management

I went to Bedale school for a while, Simon’s dad was the main sports teacher.

I think he lives further south, maybe down Leeds/Huddersfield way but I’m not sure.
