2-1 after they lead until 80 minutes when the manager uses substitutes to field our best team after repeated chants of "you dont know what your doing" and the 50 from Brackley saying " your getting sacked in the morning".
One for Grey and Mani D.

What I already posted on another Pools Place...

If the absolute imbecile plays the 1st 11 from Saturday...
0-2
If he finally sees the light and plays the 2nd half team...
5-0

BTW...this is how LOW we are NOW...
Saturday's 4th Round Qualifying Round is below the Scottish Highland/Lowland Leagues fixtures and just above the Welsh Premier League on the BBC!!!

And Robinson on international duty so 2 changes at least, Parkes will be back so he'll drip Sass Davies again even though he's been far better than Waterfall.
If he has them playing Sarllball we might nick a 1-0 win.
If we play football a 5-1 win.

which would we prefer today. a sneaky sarlball 1 nil or play football that doesn,t come off this week, get beaten only to find they get a plumb draw in the next round that gets televised live to bring more money into the club.

Looking at League One and Two, would anything count as a plumb draw? Birmingham and Reading? Wigan?

Lots of beatable teams still in it. Cray Wanderers/Tonbridge Angels, Farsley Celtic/Kettering Town, Harborough Town/Bury Town, Horseham/Gorleston, Lowestoft/Western Super-Mare, Plymouth Parkway/Worthing and that's in the case there isnt' a few "giant killings" today.

Although, I'm not sure what our record is like with lower league teams at home....I'll just try to forget about Kettering, Frickley and Blyth!!!

With the players Uncle Darren has available - playing the correct way - should be a stroll in the (Victoria) Park - 4-0 win. ManiD 2, Grey, Mancini to score.

However, he will talk our part time chums up to Man City levels- as he does with every team we play against (think this is an insurance policy he employs for excuses should we fuck it up), playing DazBall I'll go 1-1. Mancini to score a worldy (which will really piss Uncle Darren off)

PLEASE if you are in attendance - don't say anything that might remotely upset Uncle Darren, as he will cry. After all he is a footballing sage and we know nothing- and should obviously feel blessed that we have him looking after our team!

Crowd 2275

with 17 from Norf Ants

After the match Uncle Darren leaves club to take up the reigns at the Mags, with Eddie Howe taking the England job. It's later revealed that Raj has been in high level talks with the Camel Jockeys for weeks and has reluctantly let Uncle Darren and Mr Burns leave for a mere 5 million!

and another defeat today will be by a team who rarely gets four figure crowds at home but are financially backed better than us but will re ignite the change of our ownership yet again. for everyones sake from the fans downward its a must win with style today and even if that does happen it will be the case with some thats its something that should be happening.

The wind is getting up and twisting so that could be a bit of a lever today. But to be honest even if it was a hurricane I will not be happy with anything less than a win.

The line-up today suggests to me that we should score at least three and with Waterfall and Parkes back we should not concede more than one so I am going for a 3-1 win or better!

No ‘plum draws’ until round 3, wrexham are not a big team before anyone suggests that shite, and I’m old enough to remember us beating Birmingham 1-0 in the league back in 91-92 thanks to Paul Baker in first minute……with John Tinkler giving the away fans the v’s in celebrations

Following Official Twitter (X) and they seem to be battering us. Young made three or four great saves. Manni hit the post earlier onbut their keeper hasnt made a save. Are we being outplayed on our own patch by Brackley Town. Seriously?

Commentary saying we are playing hoofball and bracelet should be further ahead, their midfielder Pollock running the show
Need feather on as seems like no one else can control a football in midfield

Am sure he will scapegoat Mancini and take him off while leaving Charman on the go toe to toe then run around in circles

Listening to the game on Tees. Apart from Mani hitting the post- we've sounded second best. Uncle Darren needs to sort it out and get Fev on, for Sloggett or Sheron. If we don't WIN against these, he needs to admit that the job is too big for him and Fuck Off ASAP

I am guessing Brackley are part timers so they will be feeling tired. They just have a few minutes to hold out and maybe just maybe, Raj will swing the axe.

His obsession with his bland midfielders doesn’t help either.

Because Featherstone is the only midfielder with any quality on the ball, so every time he comes on and we start to pass it about, we dominate. So what does Sarll do? Puts him back on the bench again.
We should’ve signed someone to learn from Featherstone and take his role about 3 years ago instead of having to rely on a 36 year old to dig us out of the shit every second half this season

if they played there normal big lumps at the back its us who should be giving them a run around.

I wouldn’t say it was all Pools second half, Brackley had a few break always, first half as has been mentioned our midfield was non existent. Brackley were up for it umpteen corners in the first half, you would have thought they were the home team. When they scored they didn’t sit back and defend the lead, they scored a second which was offside.
Why was Sass Davies on the bench initially, he has played twice due to suspensions then dropped again after playing better than Pools current 2 central defenders.
The Bovril, hotdog and bottle of coke was fine although a bit pricey at £9.50 !

Revealing interview by Adam Campbell on Tees after the match - basically admitted the last four months have been the most frustrated he's been in about 8 (EIGHT) seasons due to lack of game time and styles of play.

We feel your pain Adam and collectively hope that Uncle Darren FUCKS OFF with immediate effect

Come on Raj- swing your axe - less than 2 thousand home fans in the ground isn't just hurting you in the pocket- it's killing any hope we had of a decent season.

It would also appear clear that Uncle Darren has lost the dressing room- as the first half of every game is embarrassing. It's only when Mr Burns has told them what to do at half time - do things improve and they respond - this can't continue.

Come on Raj, get rid and put Ronnie Moore in charge, we like him, he's already in the building and has a decent track record

Not by Raj, he didn't

Could it be any worse than it is at the minute with Uncle Darren in charge.

He could do it on an interim basis

First half absolutely appalling yet again, seem to start poorly every game even on the back of a rousing come back last week. Honestly don't understand waterfall playing ahead of sass davies, he's turned into an absolute liability since last season, he's slow, positioning is poor, distribution poor, just don't think he's up to this level anymore. Sloggett as well, had high hopes for the lad but I don't see what he brings to the party, never seen anything from him to suggest there's a good player in there. If Featherstone doesn't play we literally have no control of the game and he's the only one that can read the game and get his foot on the ball. We have no natural replacement for him and the players sarll got in are very samey and not particularly good one the ball, which isn't good for a midfield player!. Genuinely don't think Sarll has a clue how to get a tune out of this side, definitely not up to the task.
