Yes true but I know a few ( met at games in Sarfend over the years ) and they said he has so much in the bank from last two years he will not be turned on by the fans. It goes to show though when things are not good some fans want action others happy to give him time. I asked them to swap him for " The Sarly Man " and the text back from all three was go fook yourself.

I must admit I’m wary of Labour introducing this football governance Bill.

it all sounds too good to be true and a magic bullet to save the game for some. solve one problem and lo and behold another one will take its place. no team has a god given right to be around for ever and if you look at the number of teams from the past who are with us no more or dropped down the leagues people might understand this. how many ex NE league teams are there about even with a new team taking over the name. same in lancashire . if football is still around in 100 years with the same number of clubs many of these clubs will be different from the ones we are seeing today. could easily see truro v rugby town in the div.1 play off final and southend and pools are just names in history like new brighton and darwen.

Agree - thought Ms Crouch had some good suggestions but you just cannot trust these politicians and their advisers to get anything right.
