Two things I watched recently you may/may not be interested in....

- Freddie Flintoff's Field of Dreams, I think it's on the BBC. Shows with a bit of direction and time spent what can be done with lads who are on the scrapheap. There's a lad on it called Adnan and his story of coming to this country is harrowing. I defy anyone who hates people 'invading' our country ( ) not to be touched by his story. Great example of the people who 'come over 'ere to nick our jobs' (sigh) that they aren't always a set of freeloading fuckers.

- Strike: An Uncivil War (Netflix) - Miner's strike. Great watch, gives a completely different perspective to that peddled by the media at the time, especially the events at Orgreave. Disgraceful actions by the police under the instruction of our lovely, caring leader of the time. It'll be a difficult watch for the Thatcher lovers amongst us....but no doubt your blinkers will be in full use so perhaps not

Obviously I'm poking the bear a bit but irrespective of that, they're worth a watch. Enjoy. (Got to be better than the football being served up of late if nothing else)

The "Amol Rajan Interviews" on bbc2 and Iplayer.
The one with John Major is excellent and he doesnt hold off with his views of Johnson Truss etc.
Also there is one with Tony Blair which i have not watched yet.

No one minds genuine refugees. The issue is we in the UK do not have limitless resources to fund the lives of absolutely anyone who rocks up at Dover . The liberal establishment (Tory and Labour) seem to think we have. If you have open borders you cannot have a welfare state as we are beginning to find out.

Doubt the NHS as we know will be around before the next General Election.

Get your insurance now.
