So he’s mulling over Albania as a destination for illegals…. He might as well have left Rwanda in place. Oops…..the Germans are booking in there.
You couldn’t make it up.

And instead of pushing on and trying to get Rwanda working we'll pay again to set up a deal with Albania or another 3rd country. Good job we haven't got a black hole in the economy.
Maybe if he asks nicely the Rwandans and the French will give us our money back?
I noted that for some unknown reason he gave the Italians £4m of taxpayers money to help them in their fight against illegal migrants. No explanation as to what for or why?

Apparently Italy has reduced illegals by 60%……are they giving them train tickets for Calais….?
Apparently they’ve paid the Libyans and Tunisians to tow the boats back to Africa aided by the EU….but of course they won’t want them sending back to France from here. :angry-tappingfoot:

I know because basically it was illegal and against Human Rights etc.
But you do realise that whatever number we sent to Rwanda...Rwanda would/could send the same number of Rwandans here...no questions asked by us!!!
Couldn't make it up...what a great plan by the tories!!! clappp  clappp

That dumb, the Germans are in Rwanda showing interest….never about sending them all there, just having the threat of being sent there..the only ones going would be the ones without a reason for being here, they’d then be sent back home and the next batch moved in…
Keirs ‘excited’ by the prospect of Albania….they won’t be shipping everyone there either…no different to Rwanda.
Illegal crossings slumped pre-election but rose sharply after it…work it out.

But some do have documents …..so 300 in a batch should be just about right.

You'll have to show me the figures for that because I don't scrutinise them as much as others on here...(Ozzy Saltburn who for some strange reason thinks I went to Dyke House)...

And if what you say is true...no I can't work it out...you'll have to give me an hint to help me. sctatchinghead

I avoid porkies…..but if you can’t work it out…. or don’t want to….I can’t help you.
I rest my case M’Lud.

So Italy send them to Albania for processing and the numbers arriving drop substantially. Australia send them to a Pacific Island and their numbers arriving dropped substantially. We threatened to send them to Rwanda and many arriving carried on to Ireland so even without a flight taking off the deterrent effect was reducing numbers arriving and staying in the UK.
Germany have now introduced border checks for everyone crossing their land borders (against the Shenghen protocol) and are looking at sending their illegals to Rwanda.
We should've cracked on with Rwanda and also stopped sending money to France until we actually saw them stopping the boats leaving their shores.

The Italians pay the Libyans and Tunisians to patrol their own waters and tow the boats back with EU backing, simple really. the ones that do get through are sent to Albania for processing. If they pas they’re brought back to Italy…if not they stay in Albania.
So if it’s ok for the Med why’s it not the same for the channel…simple there’s nothing to be gained for them in the channel…pure hypocrisy.

One thing I never understood about the Rwanda plan was did it only apply to Black African Christian illegals or was the plan to land all colours and religions in a predominantly black, Christian country?

Considering that their preferred end destination is a predominantly white Christian country would it matter, unless they're racists of course.

What I meant was would an illegal from Syria go to the same place as an illegal from say South Sudan? I can see the deterrent being very different to one than the other.

Could we not just send the government to Rwanda .It would solve most of the problems with the country .
