Cars are only the beginning, they’re talking massive storage facilities on a scale where the entire world is competing for not very plentiful precious resources.
So the less powerful nations will stick with good old fossil fuels while the west fucks up by virtue signalling by our smart arse politicians of all the Party’s.

the same people who said quite corectly that fossil fuels will eventually run out but these newly mined chemicals must be lasting in the ground for ever to be mined.
