This season is no different from any national league season. We should see things starting to take shape at 10 games in. Quite a few shock results so far and one or two hammerings. Gateshead off to a flier but in some games stole the points but in others played very well...I predict 8th place in 3 games time ( they play a game less ) Eastleigh off to a flier but gradually slowing down a little...I predict they will remain top 3 over next 4 games. Barnet finding their feet after a wobbly start..I predict top place in 4 games time. Forest Green look quality and have maintained a good start...I predict top 4 in 4 games time. Aldershot strange set of results but getting better game by game....I predict 5th top in 4 games time. Woking like Aldershot so far...I predict 6th in 4 games time. Sutton steady away ....predict 9th in next 4 games. York slowly getting better ...I predict 7th in 4 games time. Rochdale / Oldham & Yeovil mixed results...I predict 10th 11th & 12th in 4 games time. Well that leaves Pools who have lost only one ( would have won but for stupid sending off ) 4 clean sheets from 6 games. Need to stop the stupid red cards because we have battled for around 1 hour in 3 games with ten men. We still managed two draws so we do have a strong defence and strong will. We simply have to win 3 of of next 4 games but I strongly believe we will win all 4 if we keep 11 on the pitch  I predict top 4 in four games time. Not many teams will beat us away this season. The problem is at home 3 games 2 sending offs. The pressure will really start to build up if we don't beat Halifax ( and no its never easy ) but we have to nail those 3 points to release some pressure and start relaxing a little more. It's been a mixed start form wise and that will continue until we settle down at home and play more attacking football. We have the players to win promotion this season but stop getting bloody red cards. banghead

I think the captaincy should be taken from Waterfall no good saying he has captained two teams to promotion, heis no good to us if he can not control himself and in the last three games has spent more time in the changing room than on the pitch. Just think if he stayed on the pitch in those two games we could now be four points better off.

agree if there is a single doubt he might react to some of his old team mates winding him up.

We have for once a team sheet consisting of actual good footballers with CVs that read like the team should be in the EFL still. Not many of our decent opponents can probably say that. We need to make it count and stop with the thuggish hoofball and play some football and play the players where they are best.

its always about making the best of what you have available rather than enforcing a style of play onto the team. even if we had kept 11 men on the pitch and have more points in the bag it does not disguise the fact that the games are not exciting. its going to be a long season if we carry on like this and those who only want 3 points and not being entertained will get bored themselves. just hope we,ll see a better pools when we get dodds and charman back who are big misses.
