So we have lost 600 plus fans this season or are we still pretending we havent? Someone in the club needs to look at making these games more affordable, and come up with some ideas before they naff off to a boro or sunderland.

I'd say it's more the performances than the price that's affecting attendances. We need to start winning and winning well at home.

Would imagine Halifax will bring a few up next week so should top 3500?
No easy comparison to make just yet or what's happening with crowds, last season we had Gateshead and Fylde in our first 3 home fixtures this season it's been all Southern clubs with piss poor travelling support. The total crowds from home games last season against Southend and Wealdstone are broadly similar for the 2 seasons.
Unless we start giving crowds something to co.e and watch crowds will only go one way though. With the personnel we've got available I'd get Fergy and Freeman charging forward a lot more with Hunter or Sherron holding back when they do. We absolutely need to start getting the ball into the box more instead of starving Mani of service, and Madine will look like a Sunday league CF if we can't give him more service than he got yesterday.

honestly i,m glad i.ll be able to watch the game live next week and not trail up to the vic where the biggest talking point of another totally dull game was another poolie getting himself sent off. the happy clappers will say we are still unbeaten at the vic. those with eyes and brains who are less guilable will stay away until they feel that they are getting value for money.

Don't think anyone is happy with home performances at all.

I heard a story of a bloke with a season ticket who lost interest and used it to get through the ground as a shortcut on matchdays from his house to the pubs in Church Street.

Its simply too expensive surely after 1 or 2 games droves of people havent given up? The football aint helping but basically the same fans watched about 20 games last season of boredom barring the start so not sure why they would give it up after 90 mins against Southend.

Got to make on the day more affordable.

2 unbeaten draws is 4 pts dropped.
1 win 1 defeat is only 3 dropped.
Realistically teams with Promotion ambitions have to knock out 3 wins in a row about 5 times a season.
UTP.

Even if we shape up and hover around the top 4 to 7 then the average crowd would pan out roughly the same as last season 4100 Ish.

Any excellent financial gamble to generate more income from same support due to only 2000sts and inflated admission prices.

Or it could go pear shaped and cost Raj a fair few quid.

Who knows!?
UTP.

if the product on offer was good then i do not think the admission cost is too expensive. remember to watch a game you do not need to buy anything from the club shop, food and drink outlets and even a programme or draw ticket. fans are not asked to pay a fortune to park near the ground unlike some places where they have little option but coughing up over a fiver a game. after listening to sarll last night he seems happy playing as we are but keep 11 on the pitch to snatch a winning goal. feel pools fans on the whole are not prepared to put up with one bit of real excitement per game and go to watch a real good game of defensive football. i,d guess fans will spend much more on a night out with their parners or on the ale with their mates than pools charge.

What some fail to see is instead of now going to the top sides and getting a draw, keep dropping points against the garbage in the league and we will be needing to beat the top teams instead. We are going to make things a lot harder for ourselves.
