Where can I get an auto gearbox for a 99 Daewoo Lanos 1.6 and how much should I be paying for it bearing in mind the cars only worth 600.

This is a common problem that i encounter on an almost daily basis banghead

Personally, given that the car is only woth somewhere in the region of £600, i'd remove the box and get it repaired.

Whats wrong with it?

I haven't heard the noise myself but it was aparently grinding and whining.
