please can you help, im using me mams car while shes on holiday the thing is when we went for a ride out on saturday it sounded like a boy racers car :shock: so i assumed i needed to get her a nice exhaust unfortunately i didnt get time and it fell of tonight on the way back from asda banghead ...

now i need to know shall i put a new one on for her coming back or leave it.. if i should replace where will i get a one fitted reasonably cheap as shes hoping to get a new car. the car is an r reg fiat punto

It will depend on what part of the exhaust needs replacing. I have an Almera and it cost me around £160 for a complete exhaust to be fitted at Kwik Fit. Sometimes it is only part of it that is knackered and might only cost around £30 or something.
