Hang about, things will be worse for the illegals as the Border Farce won’t be there in mid channel to pick them up….a case of getting a result by not being there.

I sometimes think if it was 1940 we’d have rescued no one from Dunkirk as being a bit too dangerous, then organising lifts to bring Adolf’s Army over as it was too dangerous for the Germans otherwise to cross.

And Starmer will claim Mother Nature voted Labour…(but won’t be in future because Starmer scrapped Old Mother Nature’s Winter Fuel Allowance)

Can’t Border Farce come to a productivity deal where they fetch even more illegals into the country for a nice percentage rise…..they’re daft enough to.

All these disputes have been going on for months, they haven’t just begun because Labour are now in power.

The reason they have been going on so long is the previous Government refused to give in to their demands whereas this new Government have given in. That is the one and only difference between the two. the danger now is whether there will be a knock on effect. Time will tell.

For a strike to be legal a certain percentage of the members have to be in favour of strike action and the ballots take weeks to organise well before Labour came into power. Do you think Union Officials said all of sudden let’s go on strike because Labour are in government now ?

I am going to do a Farage, form a company pretending it’s a political party and make loads of money, I just need some Melissa and Doug binoculars to stand on the cliffs at Dover.

Better still, buy a pair of Granda glasses and pretend your Starmer by telling the pensioners to get knitting for winter.

I already have Granda glasses as I have very poor eyesight because of glaucoma don’t mock the afflicted Snowy. I don’t agree with abolishing the WFA either but the pensioners are in the minority.Try cutting benefits to those who work part time claim benefits and receive annual cost of living increases.

Can you stop this lie of yours about me mocking people who wear glasses, you’ve had the explanation …..it’s not my fault if you’re out of touch with popular culture in your Oriental twilight home.

I'll second that, Snowy. Jamie, behave yourself. The only person Snowy is mocking is Starmer. Mocking politicians is fair game. They make us laugh but maybe this new lot might be different because by the time they've finished we could all be crying our eyes out. My generation have already got a trembling lower lip.

One thing I’ve noticed about Union bosses down the years…they’re miserable, humourless, scowling buggers.

I was a shop steward, nightmare, lads making bullets but not prepared to stick their head above the parapet when push came to shove.

So was I, if you expect backing from the lads sometimes you find yourself out in no man’s land alone as they never followed you.
By the way I was refering to the very top dogs in the Union leadership…they are just obsessed with their own little worlds.

The NE area main rep for our Unite is the exact opposite.
And did a great job to negotiate a decent deal as well as 95% pay while we on strike.
More of the same next year will do.

plus the lies they tell you when you go to defend them on a discipline hearing. when you go in due to em lying management take the wind right out of your sails when there truth comes out. if they had come clean at the outset you could think of ways around it before you get in.
