I doubt very much Cookey has retired - he needs a team of willing runners in the NLN to do the work and allow his quality on the ball to make a difference. There must be a couple of millionaire owners down there...

there is no way Cooke would of been able to adapt to DS style of play - he has the worst anckle problem known to man. Always flared up when he put half a shit in. Never mind needing 110% every week. He would be a luxury player in a good NLN side with young fit lads round him. he could slot in at No10 again with 2 runners in front of him and willing to do all the work.

The Rington’s man was next door earlier, and I’m not 100% sure but he bore an uncanny resemblance to……….then I had to duck, we had a packet of biscuits off them in 1998 and you’re always on their list. bbolt
