Don't know if he broke her nose but he really hurt her with two headshots and she (quite rightly) refused to go on. Apparently the guy had been banned from boxing as a woman by the IBF but was allowed to compete here by the IOC. I'm all for "live and let live" but decisions like this just beggar belief. Someone has got to get to grips with the woke problem.

She's not trans. Born a girl, raised as a girl in Algeria. Do you really think a muslim country would be the ones to put a trans athlete forward when it's illegal to be any form of LGBTQ in their country?
The unsubstantiated rumours are that she has either XY chromosomes (there is a chance of a woman having these while not being trans) or has higher than normal testosterone. The italian gave up after 46 seconds whereas in the Tokyo olympics an Irish (female) boxer beat her to progress.

I think it's because she was banned from the World Championships due to some test that hasn't been revealed. The IOC apparently have their own rules. I believe there is a 2nd boxer in the same position.

I gather it was the amount of testosterone in the blood. As we all know testosterone is what gives men the greater strengh, stamina, muscle mass and bone density.
