We at the one out one in stage now ?

Any cover for left back or is Ferguson going to play 50+ games regardless of form and fitness again

There's a simple reason why Burton has gone - the NLN is his level. Good going to get a bit of a fee for him.

Parkes can play left back. It wouldn't surprise me if we announce billy sass-davies in the next 7 days.
I also thought Burton wasn't good enough to get us to where we want to be, good luck to the lad though.

Burton was v raw but never got much of a chance imo

3 Managers weren't interested in playing him, all 3 can't be wrong!

That's because the last 3 managers didn't think he was good enough for this league. Askey signed him but only played him twice. Phillips didn't play him at all. Sarll wouldn't have let him leave for a few quid if he thought he could be an integral part of the side he's trying to build.

He's young enough to kick on at Burton or some place else, and fair play to him if he does.

I thought he deserved a chance, but I’m looking on from the outside, I have no idea of how the lad is behind the scenes so maybe it’s time to let him go ….something is amiss if all managers didn’t seem to keen to play him, what it is is maybe none of of our business.
On the limited outings he got it was hard to draw any firm conclusions on his ability so we’re whistling in the dark on this.

His appearances were rare so how you can draw any conclusions on his potential is beyond me.
As for the dig about one in one out…come off it, he was a player on the edge of the squad who was lucky to make the bench, that’s stretching it just too much, hardly first 11.

Parkes played part of a game at LB last season and did well, even looked good going forward. Would imagine that we won't start the season with only Fergy available as LB.

How do you know…like others have said all three managers have not exactly been keen on him.
There’ll be a reason for it.

I liked the lad but something was obviously not right behind the scenes, what it was I can only speculate, but my greater being never did like being bowed to, you can do yer back in way too easily….and it’s not that great either.

Burton's biggest fault in my opinion was his choice of haircut.

Maybe he's just proved the old saying right-

'Under every ponytail (man), you find an arsehole!'

It would certainly explain a lot, and the fact we managed to get a few groats for him is a Brucie bonus. Bit like when we managed to rinse a few quid out of Dundee for that odious fucker that went on strike (whose name escapes me)- Well played Pools! clappp

And being part of that destroyment of Darlington at Chorley.
Looks like sending him back to Pools stopped them getting relegated.
I reckon they will be up there this season and the big derbie will return soonish.

think you might have hit on something there as not all transfers out are totally football related. as for his abilities on the pitch he did have something to offer but like many young players was he going to improve as its not always the case.

We pissed around with Molyneux and he got sick, we probobly cant afford his right leg now, so a great talent just let go. It be nice to think someone has brought the boards attention to giving manny d a new contract before he dissapears too. No doubt that will be left to the last minute be a bit of umming and rrring only for us to lose out to sutton united or someone.

Sarll is asked about it in his post-match interview on the OS. The manager said Burton wasn't going to get the game time at Pools that a player of his age needs and it was best for both parties that he moved on. That's it in a nutshell - not up to the standard required here.

Challinor didn't think Mols was a great talent. Didn't break his neck to get him to Stockport when he became available either.
You haven't got a clue whether Mani D has either been offered a new contract or is even looking for one so why manufacture another negative just to add slur upon slur against the club. You're another one who has got himself into an anti Pools rut. I have told you this before and I'll say it again, get yerself to the Borer, they love a serial whinger. clappp

you can add to that about mols as he wasn,t by a long way the first name on the donny team sheet and only came into his own in their late run to get into the play offs.

Physically he was good but positionally all at sea, something you would hope could have improved with coaching, expected he may have suited sarlls pressing style but obviously not

I hoped he might show some improvement over the season just gone but the odd brief times he appeared he seemed to have learnt nothing and forgot nothing.
Maybe his departure was for other reasons of which we will never know…or want to.

If memory serves me right (dubious), Fergy went off injured against York at the Vic and Onareise came on to replace him but Parkes played LB and Mani O plated as CB. Parkes had a good game and we won 2-1.

Maybe boro fans arent as naieve and as easy to please as some pools fans. Slur upon slur. You have to laugh the one you defend at all costs is the one bringing slurs to the club not me. Least the accounts have finally been published from a couple of year back. Thats one positive i guess

The accounts were published on time as per HMRC and Companies House Rules. Accounts were for the year ending July 2023 and in line with every other registered company are published within 12 months of their accounting period.

Molyneux just signed a 3 year contract who scored v Boro yesterday.

Just saying like cudent be arsed to start a new thread

We pissed around with Molyneux and he got sick, we probobly cant afford his right leg now, so a great talent just let go. It be nice to think someone has brought the boards attention to giving manny d a new contract before he dissapears too. No doubt that will be left to the last minute be a bit of umming and rrring only for us to lose out to sutton united or someone.

I have told you this before and I'll say it again, get yerself to the Borer, they love a serial
whinger. clappp

Maybe boro fans arent as naieve and as easy to please as some pools fans. Slur upon slur. You have to laugh the one you defend at all costs is the one bringing slurs to the club not me.

Name just one slur he’s brought to the club….?

Relegation from the football league despite the club being on a serious high not long before it.

he,s still in north korea after being sent out to spy for players. the authorities will not release him until he gives details of where our ex jockstraps are living and playing now.

Maybe ronnie was poisoned while sat around the new board members.

I try to never attack or defend any individual at the club and as you don't name any individual, to whom are you referring??????? I do try and offer constructive criticism where the playing side is concerned though.
Where the club itself is concerned I both criticise and praise as and when I consider it deserved. That's what fans do, or at least those who have a balanced mind as against a one sided one. If you were a fan you would understand that but of course your behaviour on here is living proof you are not a fan and rejoice to the point of orgasm at each negativity your anti Pools brain concocts. Have you bought your borer season ticket yet. Oh no, don't tell me they've turned you down. It goes to prove they aren't as desperate as some people would have us believe. therethere

Im not really sure you can genuinely sit their without chuckling and say your balanced. Balanced and fair on letting people talk on a chat site thats fair enough. But come on i dont think you have once ever criticised the great leader himself, not once , funny john Walter Mitty Shithead hadnt even sat down in the boardroom and you had said more about him than anything raj had done, slightly weird but hey ho you must have your reasons i guess.

Im not a fan what because i dont fall for the shit you do every season and then when you look a bit silly falling for it all the time you accuse someone of not being a fan. You have got to laugh. Been going since i was 8 first game lincoln 3 nil win in fa cup , probobly saw 25 seasons at home without missing one game, been to over 100 away games, even went to Holland to watch us, not a fan what a hoot?

If it makes you a super fan never questioning mismanagement and failure then good on you. You are a superfan.

Do you see yourself as some sort of super fan for not questioning
