out of all the pre season fixtures this is the one i think will really test the lads - will no doubt have a good mixture of those looking to break into the first team - and actual reserve first team players, as its not billed as an U21 side so should be good.

Not really I'm as hopeful as anyone that we bring more in, just pointing out that to sat we've signed triallists as panic buys is untrue. Or ha e I missed something.

The timeline for panic signings has not quite been crossed yet... however for me its very close. Everyone will have their own versions of this timeline and some wont have it at all as they dont see anything being wrong or to worry ! Ive been around and supported Pools long enough to know when to panic or see a pattern emerge with whats happening.

Id of expected by now - a few more faces through the door given how many we offloaded and the wages that became free.

No fee but I believe there is still signing on fees if my memory serves me right. There again I would expect most transfers at our level are either free transfers (let go) or refused terms eg Campbell, Hunter and co

if he had come in four weeks time some would have written him off as a panic buy. as long as players arrive by our first game i,m not bothered when they come as long as they can do a job. its never nailed on that our first signing will be our best.
