Do these reporters ever check information before print sctatchinghead The latest goon is someone called Thirkill who talks about capacities in this league. He says Gateshead have a 12,000 plus capacity when infact its now 7100. banghead

Don't suppose it matters too much given their home crowds are about 700, unless Pools are in town. Just means they have even more/ less empty seats depending on which figure you believe!

The point is though Kettering the fail is a joke. BTW my mate is a Heed supporter and the capacity was dropped by the council a couple of months back. :wink:

It’s supposed to be the Hartlepool Mail, the clues in the name, but it’s not is it ?
Does it even have an office in the town anymore, because if it does, I don’t know where it’s at.

yes, if you are going to print facts they must be correct especially when these facts are easy to look up.

No it really does matter Kettering. They have two home games coming up in pre season Newcastle & Sunderland just like last season. Newcastle bring around 8000 and Sunderland around 7000 if memory serves.Then Gateshead themselves sell around 2500 for each of these two games so its a massive loss of vital revenue for a little club like Gateshead. :wink:
