The man is a real life hero and like you said " just one time only ". Quite a sad World we live in really and definitely not the one we thought we lived in when growing up as innocent children around our town.

Just seen Ed Davey being asked about the knighthood for Alan Bates and said he was pleased for him…didn’t even blush, banghead

You're starting to sound obsessed with Davey's role in the Post Office scandal but the supostmaster prosecutions went on for 17 years, from 1999-2015. There were Labour ministers before him and Tory ministers after who also sat on their hands. They're all to blame, along with the civil servants that advised them.

Davey is higher profile than all the others and was accountable towards the back end of the prosecutions, by then they knew that there wasnt evidence to prosecute, and they knew Horizon was a flawed system. There was a blatant attempt to cover up the Horizon errors and falsifications rather than come clean. He's apologised for the prosecutions but not for his own involvement, mistakes, or the fact that he was ultimately accountable, Right Honorable is an absolute misuse of a title for him and most of the other 600 odd MPs.

They all aren’t up for election…he was a part of the problem and now sits ther as though an ignorant bystander …..so what was he doing in his tenure in post.
I think he’s got a bloody brass neck.

begs the question of how many succesful cover ups have there been in all our lifetimes. trust in all of them should be getting lower and lower.
