I went to a Phil Collins concert, it was a great gig more so In the Air Tonight, the whole auditorium vibrated with heavy bass making your legs vibrate. The culmination of In the Air Tonight was when Collins went on the drums for the drum solo near the end of the song.

Off corse it was the highlight, it was the finale, great all very professional round gig, I went to a Clapton concert total waste of money, didn’t speak a word all night or play any of his classics, I have been to many of the old rockers concerts and Clapton was by far the worst ever.

I once wrote to Phil Collins and he replied to me with two signed photos, in a proper envelope that was addressed in his very own handwriting and all that.

I heard this on the radio recently and what a truly awful song it is. The singing is terrible (Sting) the arrangement is dull and predictable, then at the end it morphs into that awful nonsensical chant type thing that Sting used to do. I don’t know how they got away with it.

Not upset by any means, I don’t like people making assumptions, btw when I had an MRI Scan a few years ago they gave you a set of headphones to drown the noise of the scanner out, piped music was Smooth Radio or might have been Magic Radion, for my next MRI Scan they apologised as the headphones no longer played pipped music, I wasn’t disappointed.
