The two transfer listed should be able to get fixed up. Now let's see who we bring in.
Only two offered new deals, Fergie and Feaths. I fancy a few eye brows will be raised but I suppose it depends on what sort of deals and whether anyone else fancies taking them on.

It was mentioned the other week Hastie was contracted to 2025 fortunately not, a big wage earner of the books.

Obviously the proof in the pudding is who we bring in to replace these but overall very happy with this
I wouldn’t give feather a contract but there is an argument for it with experience/continuity etc
Getting rid of Crawford umerah and cooke hopefully suggests the days of accepting who we have are over

Think Mani O a touch unlucky but may want to move back down South

Also good to see Mancini and dodds extended with no fuss
Scope to bring in around 8-10 playersc think we may see Hendrie again next season and perhaps Aygemang

Featherstone is a puzzler, but I wasn’t bothered either way he goes he goes, he stays he stays.
I like it, but thought Crawford might have got the shout over Ferguson, but again there’s plenty of players out there. We can do better.

So some of the big earners have gone (apparently rumoured) let see what quality we get in or will it be like Hartley and Harrison Quantity....? I'm shocked with some names on the list.

Never understood the Featherstone hatred.

Every manager who has been here at the same time as Featherstone (and there are PLENTY) has played him.

Spot on Shilts I am happy he got another offer. Said all along he has a big part to play if we are to be successful next season.

I would have been tempted to go full clean sweep and get rid of Featherstone and Ferguson, but other than that can't complain too much.

Not happy with Umerah and Crawford being shown the door but no argument with the rest.

Umerah out injured most of season and only scored 2 goals, I would have got shot of Ferguson and bring in a new left back too open on that side of defence, Mancini option taken up just hope he can remain injury free.

Josh Umerah, Manni D and Joe Grey would have been interesting if playing together with Mancini driving from behind. Also interesting would be to know who actually drew up this retained list?

Other than fevs potentially staying, happy that we have room to hopefully revamp our ineffective midfield.

I'm guessing Umerah would've been on a substantial wage.

Can't believe this is the work of the three stooges, presumably back room staff decisions, maybe even Phillips unwittingly. If Sarll made decision, would have had to listen to backroom staff or watch a shit load of videos.

Is Sweeney still involved? Heard possibly going, can't believe the stooges and Sarll would do that.

Agree with you Ozzy I was disappointed he was not transfer listed.

Can't really argue with anything, think the only surprise for me is Crawford, not that I'm particularly disappointed he going just I expected a new offer coming. Pleased there is plenty of scope to refresh the squad. Cooke probably the best player leaving and with runners about him he is a clever player with a good eye for a pass, unfortunately we never saw it often enough. Hopefully Dixon goes and I can't say I'm bothered about Manny O either, surely better options out there.

Given he is injured and likely not going to be fit for the start of next season wouldn’t be much point transfer listing him

What has happened to the young goalkeeper, Mafzari, no mention of him on the list.

Still playing for Shildon in their play offs later this week so maybe after that but he isn't entered anywhere. When he joined Shildon they never mentioned it either! Shildon said he was on loan to them in February.

Good list though.

Umerah has had bad body language since the end of last season.
No surprise at all ….. definitely not the player he was for most of last season.

Have a listen to his interview on Radio Tees. In answer to a straight question about whether Sweeney is staying or not, Sarll umms and ahs quite a bit, says his priorty was sorting out the players first and he will be speaking to the other staff next.

So Tony, just carry on sweating - it's not like you're due any special consideration is it? Then again, he's probably got a pretty good idea what's coming.

That's a retained list thats actually cheered me up after a bit of a shit day at work.

As for Feaths and Fergie. Say what you like about them but in my opinion they're both more than decent players at this level, they rarely get injured and they always work their socks off (and if they have a bit of back up around them then they're well worth hanging on to).

I just hope the incomings are as positive as the outgoings.

I might have listed Wallace as well but think we have got the basis of a decent team there, assuming we have better luck with injuries and can keep most of them fit for the majority of the season.

I'd be tempted to offer Hendrie a deal and maybe Jameson and need to sign at least 5 quality midfielders including a couple of wingers.

I would definitely offer Jameson a contract.

Have Harrogate released him?
