Good watch, average 2500 supporters but the owner ploughs his own cash in,

In a town of 5,000 you wonder where the fans come from….can’t all be vegetarians.

Perfect example of when a club replies on one person for a sizeable proportion of their income. It could all well end in tears. Sensible clubs tap into the local business community to help, which is difficult when the town has only 5,000 people.

Forgot they will be amongst us again.

I wonder if they think sod it " throw cash at it" and end up like the new Wrexham for this season !

Or are they heading for the implode another relegation battle on their hands and all that ?

In all honesty, clubs like this are on ‘life support’ from day one….when the owner has proved he’s brilliant to himself ……he can move onto his next ‘hobby’ project.

About a year ago was holidaying in the area and went to see their ground. I went to reception and asked if I could go upstairs to look at their ground and this guy said please do if anyone stops you say Vince (the owner) gave you permission. The ground and pitch were very impressive. Apparently even with low gates they have big problems with cars and parking on match days.

Fans reps of either sex are usually bald from all the patting on the head they receive.
