It’ll be the new phrase in Thailand when the extra Brits turn up at Jamie’s bar…. ‘The King and I Arms’ …..and look in and say…”Jamie been in…?”

That's the Spanish for you. If they want to upset around 17 million of their customers, let them get on with it. No wonder the Balearics want independence.
I have friends who run bars and restaurants in Majorca and you wouldn't repeat in polite company what they think.
The Spanish of course are entitled to make laws as they see fit but I think they're taking a big risk with this one.
I smell a big u turn coming.

Man after my own heart…..I’ve stuck to Europe, Germany, Belgium, Holland, France, Ireland and even Spain…once…never again.
But do like exploring this country.
My dad spent his time circumnavigating the World for Ellerman Wilson Line and never had a good word for anywhere he went….Australia really pissed him off..and Egypt. banghead…..

My Dad didn’t like Egypt to begin with but on his second visit he bought a Persian rug for his mam, my nana…..pleased as punch he mentioned it over lunch with the Chief Engineer… who said let’s got your cabin and examine it….my dad was reluctant to disturb the nice wrapping till the Chief pulled out a pocket knife and opened it to find it was full off folded rags…. rakxe

No not all, the majority of the MSM supported Brexit, they are not going publicise any negativities about Brexit.

Blatant falsehood on your part, they mocked Brexit at every opportunity and belittled anyone supporting it.

So how do you discover anything if you fail to consider all viewpoints.
Do you get voices in your head…?

When I went on holiday the last thing I looked for was an English breakfast, Irish Bar etc, if I wanted that I would have stayed in the U.K. Part of my pleasure on holiday/working abroad was sampling the local food and mixing with the locals.

When I went on holiday the last thing I looked for was an English breakfast, Irish Bar etc, if I wanted that I would have stayed in the U.K. Part of my pleasure on holiday/working abroad was sampling the local food and mixing with the locals.[/quote]

Nearly all the EU countries i have visited have platters of meat and cheeses laid out for breakfast, who the hell wants that for brekkie .I want grease for breakfast...Wine gives me indigestion, flamenco dancing bores me along with their guitars  ..give me a tribute band at a English owned bar any day hth.

thats fine for you and others who feel that way, but the ones you do not want have more that want them as they would have gone out of business by now. if they could guarentee a week or so in blackpool with sun and no rain where they have to cover themselves in sun screen the airports might be a lot quieter. basically its blackpool in the sun they are after.

When were you last in Blackpool, it’s a s****** like most of the other U.K. resorts due to lack of investment.

Blackpool has no hiding places though ,take Benidorm for example. There are areas that are mad and other parts that are lovely just a stroll away, same with a lot of resorts over in Spain.

In the 80’s I was taken to the Sergeants mess in RAF Gutersloh….. they asked what I was drinking, toyed with the idea of a rum, then said I’d have what they’re having, big mistake, so it was ‘Wobbly’s’ all round….strong German beer ….the worst hangover I ever had….it made your brain larger than your skull…I cannot recall that night.
