Checking the table, Chesterfield have conceded more goals than any other team in the top 12 apart from Aldershot….luckily they’re the highest scorers.

they were never in a serious challenge with anybody which might be the reason for it. paul cook might splash the cash on a new defence and he can then get really excited about becoming KP and get excited about what football is all about, clean sheets.

Look at poor Bishop's Stortford in National North conceded 110 and only scored 35 with 2 games to go. Probably doesn't help being so far South and not getting the good players who can play for a dozen teams or more within the London radius.

Interesting stat. How many Pools players have pulled out on a Friday? Yet again we have another.Cooper is unwell, personally I think it’s the thought of the reception he’ll get after the last few games. Let’s be kind and say he’s been disappointing.

Problem may be Raj is desperate to end the home games on a high to help season ticket sales.

Otherwise it makes no sense, these young lads need a game and the fans would back them regardless of the result.

actually when he did come on as a sub in his debut game i never realised he was an ex league player. looked like a kid picked up to make up the numbers or on par with somebody like trusty. possibly with his size and pools love for hangings he might be afraid to turn up as he might be mistaken for a darlo spy.
