Watching the Creepy V Stockport game. It just dawned on me that DC last 5 seasons are: Promotion Pools / Playoffs Stockport / Promotion Stockport / Play off final Stockport / Stockport should be promotion again this season. If I am correct that's one hell of a record. He also had amazing seasons at Flyde. :roll:

He has certainly got the wisdom to perform wonders thats for sure. How he isnt in the championship yet is baffling.

There is teams in the championship hiring managers with hardly any experience then you have the likes of him and cloughy jnr doing amazing jobs. Sunderland need a new good manager - would be a right tough task for him that job

apart from his time at pools he has been at clubs with a bigger playing budget than the vast majority of the others in the leagues he was at. possibly his time at pools was taking everything into consideration was his best achievement in his career so far.
