With regards to Loan Signings do we just have them in for a couple days training and think he will do as for example we need a right back and he is a right back. In my time with IOR we always went and watched a possible loan playing actual game time to decide whether he was a player better than we already had and if so, we would sign him. Naturally if he wasn't we would have a back up and he would be watched or have been watched and assessed Joe Monk will have known Senior and Dickenson from his time at Colchester but i wonder if he had them watched recently before recomending that they are signed on loan..

it doesn,t help getting young lads in at the back end of the week and starting them straight off on a saturday. others who do this either have em as a sub or watching from the stand or dug outs. very rarely unless its a keeper you need to throw inexperianced lads in at the deep end.

To be fair the kid at RB did OK defensively yesterday, don't know why every right back since Seaman lost his form gets into the opposion half then shits himself and turns back towards our own goal though.
Not sure why the forward had so much time to pick his spot for the first, or why Mani O made such a stupid tackle on the edge of the box though?

Very true, acclimatise them unless they’re a battle proven pro.

back to patching up the squad - hit and hope etc...

thought we had gotten away with this under KP, he even said so himself in some earlier interviews. But its clear for all to see that he is peeing with the c0xx he has got just now. This back end of the season is hard to get good players in and a suppose a daft 2 month for a loanee U21 is all we where ever going to pad the squad out with at this stage !

Shame about Kahn he would of been a regular in the team.
Duffus is shocking !
Dickenson was a good player but miles away from where he should be and is clearly unfit still
Senior id of maybe liked to see a little more of him with some more game time could of helped us out.
Cooper - not really sure but isnt bad as an impact sub !
