Even a manager who stabalised a club and got them an unlikely promotion isn,t safe in football now. Really what chance has KP and any other manager we or others have nowadays if they dare to lose games even with a depleated squad due to injuries. The game as we used to know it is dead and the only thing i,m glad for is at my age i,ve seen it at its best and not too many years to see it eating itself alive.

Everybody in life now wants instant success, football is just following the trend…sadly.

heard that challinor is the 13th longest serving manager in the football league. its a joke as it only feels like yesterday he left us. we are on our 5th full time one since he left but in a worse position than the day he arrived. pools will not be the only ones but how many have really improved with their policy of sack, sack, sack in the hope they,ll find the right man. fine if you employ a real dud but surely some could be given more time to change things.
